PhilT
When was the last time a LGT looked like a WRX? We have not see the sedan yet. I think it part of it is the fact the US doesn't like hatchback. Not really, as a Brit used to seeing hatchbacks everywhere, I can categorically say that this is an ugly one Admittedly, it wouldn't take much to make it better looking, a new grill, some fender flares, et voila ! I think it part of it is the fact the US doesn't like hatchback. The new LGT will of course not look like the '08 WRX but if it's the same designer with his/her F'ed up sense of "style"... Then I fear for next Legacy restyle. I don't have a problem with the hatch. I actually kindda like the rear design. Like most people said the front facia is the problem. itsme
Well the old WRX front changed about every two years. Let's see two years from now. wukindada
It's the front end that is soooooooo godawful!!! 5 door hatch I like.....unfortunately for subaru with no LGT wagon I will not be shopping for a 5 door STI. Insurance on a new vette will still be cheaper:rolleyes: For the difference in ins. costs between a STI Hatch & a LGT wagon you can put that money towards a much nicer automobile. When I was shopping almost 2yrs ago for the same coverages... 05 STI............1900-2100 05 LGT...........641 Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!! LegGTLT
     Why thank you! That is one sick ride in your avatar by the way. When was the last time a LGT looked like a WRX? We have not see the sedan yet. I think it part of it is the fact the US doesn't like hatchback. It's not that they look alike or will look alike, it's what they've done to the WRX I don't like. Do you think this version looks anything like the old WRX? My point was what if they change the LGT that much and make it ugly, not like the WRX in looks, but just plain old ugly in looks. I agree. Overall shape of the car is good, the front is bloody awful. What a cheeky bastard that designer is!!! Please PM joeleodee For All Site Questions. BigT
Yeah hatchbacks are awesome.... If it's 1987 and we're talking about a civic Almost every queermobile I've ever seen since the old civics was a hatchback. Saabs, Daewoos, etc. What a crappy ass idea. Man Subaru sucks sooooooo bad right now.

BOXRPWR
okay, I understand the economics of using the Legacy TMIC, but my God! give the REX guys a damned engine cover at least! that this looks horrid when its exposed like that! nice to see the LGT steering wheel getting more play as well. BOXRPWR
oh and Rommel....if you want to make like a zillion dollars in the next couple years.....you should mold up an RBS front grill for that REX right now. I bet you couldn't make if fast enough even if they were injection molded plastic!

BOXRPWR
nah, he's right...it will kick the MS3 in the ass. every time the MS3 driver finally stops after pulling a dozen cars on it the REX driver will inevitably, feebly drive up and hit it in the rear end. cause that's the only view he'll ever see of it! The B4
^ Ummmmmmm how bout no. the current 6 year old WRX platform hangs with the MS3. The new one is shorter, lighter, longer wheelbase, new suspension, and has the LGT engine. Me figures MS3 = road kill [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
panamajack
At least it will take to mods better than a MS3, possibly better than the new EVO as well.
