  1. It was just the oval overlays, but I've been told that they look like LEDs many times.
  2. That was me!!!! I liked your ride too. You had a cornell license plate frame, right?
  3. What year legacy is the black leather coming off of?
  4. Are you registered with a club? You should be able to get details of the offer when you are eligible. I should be coming up on eligibility in Sept some time. I can let you know when I hear, but I imagine you'd be ok with an outback, just make sure you follow the suggestions in this thread.
  5. I believe you have to take it from dealer inventory, so no swapping. If you want that car, I would suggest searching local inventories and saying you wanted to go to that inventory when you contact your club. Also, I think this is the best method as opposed to haggling
  6. Someone recently told me that these clubs aren't doing this anymore. Is that accurate? Do we have an updated list of clubs that are still participating?
  7. It is a much nicer feel because it isn't leather. It's vinyl... it makes it more suscepti9ble to scratches that won't come out. But, it does make it feel much nicer
  8. There are a couple of very in depth threads on this topic. Search them out and set aside a couple of hours, and you can get every point of view on the subject.
  9. Possibly, but it does sound like a head gasket. You should probably take it to a subaru dealer and at least get them to diagnose the problem.
  10. I'm pretty sure the whole thing is made of leather, except for the middle piece where the horn is. My car has almost 60,000 miles and the steering wheel looks great. I think a big thing would be how clean peoples hands are. If you have a dirty job, just keep some handy wipes in your car. Other than that, just care for it like any other leather, conditioner and don't scrape it with your keys, zippers etc.
  11. White LGT sedan in Flushing off of sanford ave. We honked and waved.
  12. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87111 For all those interested.
  13. +1 Gold isn't my thing, but it looks best on red!
  14. If you aren't in a rush, I'd say that you should wait for them to pop up on the classifieds. You save yourself a lot of money that way. Also, you may want to check with King Of Parts. They are pretty awesome at pricing!
  15. Saw a Silver Legacy sedan with cans and a custom plate on Northern BLVD last Thursday headed West. I was in my neighbors blazer and didn't get a good look.
  16. If you look at your car the left (drivers side) has a more severe angle than the passenger side. I don't believe they are the same, but I could be wrong.
  17. Reminds me of the kids on getoffourisland.com best website evar!!!! Check out the vids if you get a chance.
  18. This won't work with our cars. The center console isn't symetrical The center pieces do come off quite easily. Search for 'Vacation Pics'. They should give you a better idea of how things work.
  19. True for our seats as well. The airbag is attached to the frame.
  20. +1 The heater element is in the cushion. I'm not 100% sure but I believe that you would have to take the leather/cloth off of the cushion to get the heater element out. But if you're not into it, you could just not turn it on, or not plug it in underneath the seat.
  21. Good taste! My car looks very similar to yours. Black smoked tails etc. But mine has a hoodscoop, and now some brembos and Prodrives
  22. Well, than it is definitely working if our own members can't spot you! You should be proud of your accomplishment and post who you spot
  23. I don't actually have a suby card, so I don't 'earn' suby bucks. The good thing about them is that they are for sale all the time. NASIOC is a great place to find them. The only deal is that you have to get all of them in one name. It works out well if you're buying cheap things ($100-$300), but when you need bigger things (brakes) you really need to hawk on the classifieds to make sure that when a large amount ($1000+) comes up you nab it before anyone else. Somewhat worth it if you have the time. They usually go for $75(US) on the $100 (Suby buck) It's essentially like getting 25% off of any parts you purchase!
  24. Yup PFF7 18X8 When you get them go tyhrough King Of Parts and try to buy Suby Bucks from someone. It's a Killet Deal. By using Suby Bucks, I got front Brembos, rear stoptech rotors, rear Hawk HPS pads, four tires mounted and everything installed for under $1500! I know some of the prices were going up but you can still get s sick deal. Some people wouldn't even sell you the Brembos for what I Paid.
