scoobie2.0
Awesome. Any heads up on final designs for the mufflers? Dual oval tips for my after Christmas present please lol.
BAC5.2
Right now, we are considering the following: Ovals for sedans and wagons, and turndowns for the Outbacks. We might do a quad, but no promises. The ovals we have look really great, and quads look a little out of place in the factory cutouts. scoobie2.0
Perfect. Would asking for pics of the ovals be too much? Lol. Thought about just doing a custom job with ovals but that time frame isn't bad. Hoping they look similar to Cobbs or Prodrives.
compsurge
So... anyone want to buy my wagon fitment stromung for a good price? It needs some custom work to make it fit perfectly.
coldsubycz
The flex/resonated midpipe should be here soon, probably another week or so! Things move at a different pace down under, don't forget. Ill update ASAP. Just curious if you have any pics of the second mockup with the flex/resonated section. For us visual types
BAC5.2
Negative. We abandoned the idea temporarily. There were two options: 1) Go the Perrin route and install a worthless resonator. 2) Stick without the resonator, and keep prices down. The flex idea is still in the works. Mufflers are more important ATM. NSFW
Properly muffled, no resonator required. Otherwise, resonator required. On a related note, is the TXS mid/Y going to bolt up to the stock mufflers? If so, I have a customer waiting. If not, I dunno... depends how the supplied mufflers compare.
