On the 5EAT downpipe: Not likely going to make a 5EAT specific downpipe. What are the differences? If it's just the trans mount, that's not really necessary and the current downpipe will likely fit.

On availability: We confirmed some changes, and a non-resonated and non-flex midpipe will be available sometime in February.

Price: Mid-Y only, will be somewhere in the $500-ish range. We are working on a flex-equipped midpipe, and are going to do some testing with a resonator. It's hard to justify giving up ground clearance for a minor benefit, though.

Mufflers? The muffler is finished being designed, but production has only moved for the 08+ WRX Sedan. The LGT Sedan/Wagon and OBXT mufflers will be available soon.

Sound: The kit on the WRX is unnoticeably different in volume than the Invidia Q300 (or whatever). It's a LITTLE louder when holding no-load at 4500RPM, but not by much, so expect near-Invidia volume, if not a little quieter (different muffler design for the Legacy/Outback application).

Jokingly, we held the 08+ muffler up to the Outback.

There will be a few different tip styles. Likely turndowns, quads, and ovals if I had to guess.

Yea, and don't forget that the mid/y will be available independently from the mufflers and downpipe, so you can piece together your setup as you want. You can do a DP first, then a mid pipe, or just put mufflers on your stock setup.

That is perfect! TXS's stuff is always quality...would expect no less from this exhaust setup. Eagerly awaiting finalized info and pics! Would also love to see a 5EAT DP, but oh well. I'm sure one of the other 5EAT compatible DP's will probably work with the TXS setup...

You know I'm in for whatever is in the pipeline. ;)

Preference - TXS Catted DP into resonated (non-flex-joint) mid, into quad-tip mufflers extended sufficiently to reach the outside periphery of the 05-07 LGT Wagon's humongous rear bumper.

Alternatively, everything above, except delete the TXS Catted DP and make the Mid pipe a donut-gasketed one so it can mate up to a stock or aftermarket DG flange.
