No drone in my wagon BECAUSE OF stock mufflers.

Fixed.

Wagons need resonators, seriously.

Thinking of going with this mid and Y with some modified stock mufflers. Love the quad tip look but need more stealth. ;)

Quads, yes please...:)

:whore:

Quads fit and look great in the wagon cutouts. ;)

Subscribed.

Currently have Fast Motorsports exhaust, but not very happy with slight drone and muffler cans do protrude slightly. If you guys will develop perfect fitment for OBXT, I will be selling mine exhaust next day and buying yours.

The requirement of a resonator in the midpipe on a wagon is really up to debate. In my experience, given the same mufflers there is almost no difference between a resonated and unresonated midpipe. The majority of drone manifests itself in the muffler.

I'm talking with them right now for updates.

The mid/y pipe jigs are ready for production and shipment around March pending delivery of material. The mufflers are in their 3rd revision, but are a ways off right now. Probably closer to the Summer.

I'm looking for a mid and Y first and foremost. I may check out the mufflers too if they are deemed drone-free for the wagon.

You're probably right that a simple round resonator like you see on many aftermarket exhausts doesn't do a damn thing for the drone in a wagon. I went with a full Magnaflow muffler to knock out the majority of the drone in my Strömung. You can still hear it though and it sounds great some days but is still pretty annoying other days. Must be my mood that changes.;)

Wow, I'm not sure how I completely failed to noticed this thread with as much time as I spend lurking. I put on a CNT catted DP + GMS catback just about a year ago and... it turns out I don't have as much tolerance for a loud(ish) exhaust as I thought I would. I still have my stock exhaust still but the flanges are badly corroded (they were already corroded when I took it off) and I don't think I can put it back on at this point. Would love something quieter than the GMS and this looks promising.

It sure should, if the SPTV2 mounts to the stock mid pipe.

Did I reply to your PM? I forgot.
