testes1010
So are you going to be planning on getting injectors and a pump anytime soon? I'll probably pickup a walbro 255lph Fuel pump after payday & DW650cc injectors after tax return.

ShadowImg
^ My stock TMIC has seen 24psi and the endtanks are still solidly attached, if that gives you any relief.
testes1010
^ My stock TMIC has seen 24psi and the endtanks are still solidly attached, if that gives you any relief. Definitely does. I dying to turn up the boost & find the 'limit' of the stock fuel system.
Infamous1
Definitely does. I dying to turn up the boost & find the 'limit' of the stock fuel system. Your just about there already, the turbo obviously will taper on it own a bit but you will be mising out on about 2psi from 5K-6k rpms. You should be perfectly fine at upwards of 20psi at anything below 5k rpms. BTW I like how your timing increments up, very smooth!

Thats about what I've figured as well, 15-16psi or so will be the max of stock fuel system toward redline, I think I've got enough headroom at peak load for 21-22psi, we'll see. Thanks, I generally spend a lot of time on my timing maps trying to make them as smooth as possible.

ShadowImg
God that's beautiful. it really makes you wonder why Subaru was using the VF40/VF46 at all. I don't really see a single point in any of this data which would indicate the VF52 having any compromise against them. Maybe 1st and 2nd gear show some difference, but it can't be much. 05Boost
Damn how are you doing it. Still under 100IDC. I'll have my cable this week I want to run your maps maybe alittle bit of a detuned one. What was the temp?
testes1010
What was the temp? The temp was a bitter 17*F which caused the bit of Temperature induced KC at the very very topend of the second log.

05Boost
what do you think the % difference is of this and a dyno is? Like does this read higher then a dyno?
testes1010
what do you think the % difference is of this and a dyno is? Like does this read higher then a dyno? MHO is that the DatalogLab software(and Airboy's Spreedsheet) reads slightly less(1-2% difference) than 'average' reading Dynojets like P&L's or AMS's. I had a stock LGT 5mt graph saved from P&L's DynoJet but I can't seem to find it, it was along the lines of ~220whp/250wtq whereas my DLL software did ~215whp/245wtq stock LGT @ AMS: http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=55212&d=1216575938
05Boost
ahh awesome. For some reason I though i had read somewhere that the stock dynos were lower then your stock spreedsheet. Im so jealous right now. I want a retune. Once that cable gets here ill take some more datalogs.

Infamous1
what do you think the % difference is of this and a dyno is? Like does this read higher then a dyno? I plotted your log you sent me using airboy's spreadsheet. It reads about 5-9% lower than a dynoet from what I have seen.
05Boost
yea i remember that didnt know if there was a difference in the one you used and then one he used. Im just really jealous of his tune haha.
Drew888
Question for the 'tuners' out there. IYO, what is the whp/wtq range expected from a protune running VF52, Perrin TMIC, 740's, Walbro pump, Grimspeed headers, and full 3" TBE. I think some are getting #'s similar to Testes but they "do" have injectors/pump/upgraded TMIC.
