  1. Maybe they redesigned the fumoto? This is the one I bought and had zero issues with interference on my 2005 LGT with an automatic trans: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VCEV0Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  2. For those with the fumoto, I got a jug to drain into instead of just a regular pan and you can feed the hose right into it without any concerns about aim. Granted, this only works if you're on jack stands or ramps, or I guess have a really long hose from putting it up on a lift. This is the one I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014FKI1Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  3. it was many years ago, but this is what I bought for fronts: Hawk Performance HB533F.668 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VKYGVS/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 rears: Hawk Performance HB434F.543 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CO8XLC/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Makes me think of a leak in the intercooler path. What's your IC setup? Or a leaky gasket in the UP or exhaust?
  5. wow looks like a raging success! and of course the pictures drive the FOMO pretty heavily. maybe next one...
  6. I did Boston to Miami (~25 hours) in one shot rotating with one other driver. Will never do that again. On the way home our two other travelers each took a turn as well. I still wouldn't do it without staying somewhere overnight. You don't get real sleep in the car so when it's your turn again you're barely any more rested.
  7. we do have a great little community here. i'm on the fringe these days but great to see it still running strong
  8. if you keep yelling at Amazon they'll likely just give you the money back
  9. That price seems accurate (if not low) if it includes all of the supporting bits. Looking back at my records, I paid ~$1500 in 2014 for the JDM Spec B bumper, grille, fogs, fender liners, undertray, brackets, etc.. You have to remember to consider the cost of shipping those large parts across an ocean.
  10. if you still want a 4th gen i've got one that's been sitting for a while that's just waiting to walk away from me for a steal. loaded with all sorts of goodies, though condition unknown. still starts and purrs. even have some BNIB parts.
  11. 7ish hours for me... i gotta think about it, but nice work on settling on date and location so quickly.
  12. My LGT is unfortunately not in a driveable state at the moment, but I'd likely bring my Audi. I'm now in a B8 A4 Avant that was S4 swapped (engine and trans) and facelifted to a B8.5. My allroad got hit and totaled this summer Location: Boston, MAMax. Distance willing to travel (hours): 5 (one-way) Odds of Attendance: Medium to Low, but I wanted to at least put my hat in the ring
  13. Argh stop ittttt..... i'm having a hard enough time resisting buying that local beast
  14. sad day! mine is still sitting ... almost had it sold this summer for pennies, but it didn't pan out... how much for yours?
  15. Maybe STI style? with the outlet 90deg off ours? looks like it would have been rotated, a bit, though.
  16. Could it just be the torque converter unlocking and locking again? I used to see my RPMs dip and re-rise on WOT pulls in data logs and through discussing with my tuner, we came to the conclusion it was that. I never really felt a power loss, though. Could just see the RPMs dip.
  17. I have a Mainer car buddy in the Audi scene who is nuts about his cars. I'll reach out to see what his body shops of choice are. As a warning, all good body shops seem to be very busy right now. My shop of choice when my allroad got hit said they wouldn't be able to touch my car for over 2 months.
