testes1010
What do you do where you have to work 100+ hours in a week... sweet jebus. I'm a Field Service Engineer as well as on-site supervisor, programmer & whatever else I need to do that day for Daifuku. There's two of us assigned to this office, the other guy is strictly mechanical. We've got a few guys brought in from other offices but they don't know the plant or how 'this' plant operates. We're installing +$17million worth of equipment into TMMI's(Toyota Motor Manuturing Indiana) Assembly West plant in 4wks time(started 2-3wks ago). We peaked out at just over 100 millwrights, ironworkers & operators as well as ~40 electricians. I've also got another $1.2million for Body Weld shop & the Assembly East plant at TMMI. http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/global/common_logo01.gif http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodRootHeaders/auto_root.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodCategoryHeaders/chainless_conveyor.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodHeaders/r1_c3_p8.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodHeaders/r1_c3_p10.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodCategoryHeaders/chain_conveyor.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodHeaders/r1_c4_p11.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodCategoryHeaders/electrified_monorail.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodHeaders/r1_c1_p1.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodHeaders/r1_c1_p2.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodHeaders/testBench.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodHeaders/edip.jpg http://www.daifukuamerica.com/images/prodCategoryHeaders/ramrun_HID.jpg
Legend
^^ Looks really interesting! True for the most part, however I am salary which blows working this many hours but I'll have ~8wks of comp time by the time this is over, not counting my vacation time. So much time off will be taken after May or so.

VTGT
^So wait with a pretty complete tune on stock fueling + stock tmic you are at 300 whp and 300+ wtq ? If so I am extremely impressed, and hopefully 280whp is possible out of a 5eat with a similar setup.
EquinnoxX
Bump for logs, initial and current impressions... I'm getting closer to going this route and would love to hear how it's doing after a few months in.
testes1010
Bump for logs, initial and current impressions... I'm getting closer to going this route and would love to hear how it's doing after a few months in. I'm still very happy with this turbo for a daily driver, its large enough to surprise a few unsuspecting STi's, etc. I've not had too much time to do any logging due to some crazy hours I've been working. testes1010
Installed a new toy here a week or so ago. Finally got the MAF scaling dial in to were I'm pretty happy with it, however I had not made time to do a couple of WOT pulls on my favorite backroad & post some graphs and logs. It is a KSTech 70mm CAI. I've been unhappy with all the designs that are out there for the intakes for the LGTs so I contacted Matt@KStech, he quickly sent me out a 70mm CAI. KSTech can put the MAF closer to the filter that would require no tweeking to the MAF scale or where I asked for it to be which require some rescaling. Attached are the pics. I will end up putting some additional heatshielding around the filter as well as cover the aluminum pipe with DEI heatbarrier. Once I get some WOT pulls I'll post them up. Enjoy. Wangspeed
It's nowhere near the ground. He'd have to drive through a pond first to get it to hydrolock. Warren
testes1010
looks good.. where can I get one and how much is it? Contact Matt at sales@kstech.biz his website is http://www.kstech.biz/servlet/the-MegaMAF--C.A.I.-Cold-Air-Intakes/Categories he's not added the LGT 70mm yet to the list of available intakes but I sure you he can do pretty much any thing you'd want. I paid $195 for it including the K&N filter and all t-bolts & coupler.

My CAI filter on my WRX was much much closer to the ground and never had issues with it.

yamie700
Are you still running a VF52 or did you switch? I see you have a DIY TMIC. What was the temp for those logs, 310g/s seems to be flowing pretty good.
ShadowImg
Your turbo makes me hate SCCA's class rules. I really don't want to go to SM, which leaves me doomed to this VF46.
