Right. There's WAY more to it than the controls.

 

I made a post elsewhere where I detailed my effort to swap out the auto from manul climate controls and ran afoul of Subarus odd design.

Simple logic, yes it might be that easy. On the other hand, what if the zones are coded as driver's side and passenger? That would create the cross control some people are worried about. Time will tell.

 

 

Wouldn't bother me if I could get a double din up there.

I've got a Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty going in right now, with MBQuart 6.5" QSD's, MBQuart Reference for rear doors, a Maxxonics 5 channel amp and a JL free air sub going into the JDM rear deck location. Other than hearing the system you'll never know what I've got and I'll have an I-Pod connection too :-)

 

I'll get some shots of everything when I get back home from Florida later in the week.

If he can get that to work, then the JDM ACC Double-DIN thingy should also work.

 

In that case getting the kit would be as easy as ordering it from japanparts.com.

I hear ya. I have 2 sets of MB Quartz PSD components, MB quartz 4 x 100 amp, a JL 10W6V2 sub, JL 500/1 Monoblock amp with RBC controller, and capacitor all sitting in boxes in my room. The clean sweep and 50 cubic feet of Ultimate B-quiet are in the process of being shipped. The anticipation kills me.
