  1. nope. no update here. They never found anything at the delear and it has not come back. It has been a lot of miles since as well.
  2. Eschanged peace signs with a Atlantic Blue LGT this moring at arount 8am on HW 9.
  3. agreeded. enough with this "you first after me" menatlity. everyone should learn and practice the Zipper effect. Then traffic wouldn't be quite so bad. instead of slowing down to a crawl, we would loose ~10mph on the freeways due to a merge.
  4. On Sunday, White 05-07 LGT sedan turning right from hwy 1N to Ocean. Was in the FXT turning back onto hwy 1S.
  5. Hope to see you around. From my experiance, the people are about the same in friendlyness. May be a santa cruz thing, where all the green is, but get about the same amount of waves. But I really miss the PNW at times and relesh every moment I get to go back.
  6. At least on mine, no. I have had to use one.
  7. Not sure if it is he is making them, but JazzyMT was selling an aux in board that would sit between the CD player and the amp that worked well on the older head units. That is the only thing that I would think that might do what you want.
  8. Just spotted a ABP wagon on Huckelberry Ln in Boulder creek with modified exhaust and debadged. Anyone here?
  9. Yep. I work at Lockheed Martin. Glad to see someone on here more often.
  10. spotted you at the intersection of porter hillview, and hanover.
  11. yay, my first spotting The grill is a custom one that I made and had the STI badge so I put it on. Not lowered, currently on OEM suspension. Will be putting USDM 08 SpecB suspension on this summer. OEM wheels; use them in the winter, have 08 SpecB wheels I use in the summer and they should be going back on in about a month or 2. Hawgzaust FTW . Your OBXT looks awsome.
  12. White LGT at Costco Santa Cruz at about 4pm. You had a GT badge on the grill and was debadged.
  13. 05-07 Blue LGT in the Toys/Babies-r-us parking lot in santa cruz yesterday at about 4pm.
  14. Keep meaning to post this: - Have seen a white LGT wagon with STI stickers on the sides outside Plantronics and Costco in Sana Cruz. Saw you last night. Was right behind you. - Have seen a Red LGT Sedan with black wheels, debadged parked ouside a house on Highway 9 across from the orthadox chruch in Ben Lomend. Both great looking cars
  15. Wow, I actually spotted someone on here .
  16. I thought it was '08. It was DGM and that wasn't avaiable as a color in 06 when I got my LGT.
  17. About noon, 07 DGM LGT wagon with aftermarket wheels on hanover heading toward pagemill in palo alto. Tried to wave, but I don't think you saw me .
  18. I don't see why you wouldn't be good to go
  19. I do not believe you need both parts. You only need the HU. I am not sure which part off hand is the correct one. I would have to see if I can find it.
  20. The Stock 05/06 HU were not designed for any type of input outside of the HU it self. So they just don't work. The i-pod kit uses the the Sat input on the HU instead of the aux input. The closest thing out there would be a CD-Changer interface. So you get control, power, and level audio from the i-pod to the HU though the ipod interface, not the 3.5mm headphone jack (which is not line level). The Aux-in is only a 3.5mm jack (stock) so you would only get line non-level input from that. If you only want the i-pod, just get the 07HU + the i-pod kit and you are all set.
  21. I am not clear which parts exactly to get the Aux-in to work, but the car is not wired for it, so you would need to make some connections from the HU to the Aux in that you decide to use. I jsut went to radio shack and made a connector for the HU and wires to go to a 3.5mm jack that I mounted into the cup holder area. It cost me ~$15 for the parts and took me about an hour to make the cables and install them. This will not likely be what the dealiership would be willing to do for you. The iPod kit is plug-n-play so that is self explanitory.
  22. No soldering to my knowledge unless you want to get the Aux-in wired up, you may need to solder some wires together. If you only want the I-Pod kit, then you wouldn't need to worry about the aux-in. And you can try and get the dealership install it, but they would charge you a lot. My dealership would charge me $99/hr and this would likely be a 2hr+ job if you are able to talk them into it. Everything should be plug/n/play so if you take your time, you should be able to figure it out.
  23. I believe that if you got the following you would get what you want: 2007 HU I-Pod kit (as long as you don't want XM) And then you are set. I have a zune, so there isn't an integration kit for me, but I have the 07 HU in my 06 GT. I have the XM Sat radio and the Zune plugged into the aux in and love this setup. From what I understand, if you get the I-Pod kit, you would use the sat button to control the i-pod.
  24. no way, I can't believe that the squeek is still there in an 09.
