That's why I don't buy up pipes with a flex joint.

Invidia up pipe, no flex joint.

In case you didn't get it, I'm not a big fan of Flex pipes.

Yeah after I saw that never again will I get one with a flex section.. it took little to no force for it to pull apart and it was already fraying rubbing on the motor. I ordered about $150 stuff from subarupartsforyou. I'm just waiting for the email for me to come pick up the order sometimes they forget but it was mostly stuff like that pipe that goes to the oil cooler in front and under the main TB cover that whole pipe was rusted so I got that.. the other stuff I forgot what I ordered lol

I dread having to do the hoses.. OH speaking of that and because I have EJ22 heads that have been sitting in my house for 2 years the oil filler next is the same right? I ask because i did not know the EJ255 heads the middle section was screwed in and I pulled on it and snapped the plastic.

If it's from the same site it wont work for me on a mobile connection..

Now I'm in another pickle these idiots after all these years want to paint the lines for the parking spaces and they want all the cars out.. well I can't move my car.. the only option I can see is a tow strap.. what a bunch of BS..

*edit the guy was cool with me just rolling it forward.. again another fan asking about the car

still haven't gotten a PM back from him yet.. but I have another question not sure I need a new head but the cam journal is pretty badly marked up but from what I have seen not the cam cap.. I need to figure out if it's not going to be a issue or get another head.

Sounds like you need a new head unless you know a good machine shop that can weld the journal and then machine it back to spec. for the cam to fit in.

Spec has great customer service. I was emailing Jeremy back in Feb/Mar when I ordered my Spec 2+.

With the Holiday's coming up...my take a little longer for response's.

Rick aka Underdog is normally pretty good about getting back to you.

This is what Spec emailed me back yesterday

"Will the SU253H clutch work with the ACT streetlite ACT 600480?"

You would use the SU203H (06+ WRX unit) for that flywheel, as for some reason ACT made that flywheel for the 228mm WRX clutch instead of the 240mm Legacy GT clutch (SU253H).

Best Regards,

SPECTech

Ordered a new sti 07+ oil pump Moroso 24965 oil pick up and new slave cylinder new drivers side back cover and front tb cover since the bolt was stuck so I ripped it off..

The turn in concept cam bolts..

Anyone have the part # for the exhaust valves? I still need to check the passenger head to see how the cam journals look.. Now that the Christmas season is over for my job I'm not doing 80 hour weeks anymore so I have a bit more free time

Just came from the machine shop and it will be around $550 for the block work he recommends me to change from the stock rod and aftermarket pistons as far as the heads they should be ok for the crank I'll just buy a new one

What's the total cost of the parts compared to a new ej257 for $1800 with shipping ?

What's your HP goals, if under 350whp, a stock ej257 should be fine.

Anyone know the part number for the exhaust valves? What's the difference between stock and the GSC 32mm valves?
