Friday night I popped out 4 cam bolts using my AMS gear tools and that particular hex driver and took me about 5 minutes to get them all out easily and quickly. http://ultimatetoolco.com/koken10mm This thing ROCKS! SBT
That ridgid set is certainly spendy, but I bet it saves $100 worth of headache each time you use it. I've already spent that much in broken spiral extractors . Have always wanted a good set of "proper" extractors and adding this to the toolbox, will do that. Plus, I've got several "relegated to the 'maybe' pile" projects to use it on as soon it gets here. boxman
Is there a local place for this brand? Not that I'm aware of. I don't have the hex bit set and can't find my extractors or I'd loan them both to you. Snap-On has a version of the extractor set but it costs quite a bit more. boxkita
Time to resurrect this train wreck. The storage locker bill came due. :-) Ordered the sunex 10mm hex socket & Ridgid extractor set from Amazon. Gave up trying to find a local source. Picked a deleted set of TGVs from JmP. If I can remember to call and pay for it, I have a STI upper cooling tank coming. Build my car Boxkita Track days
