I want to go that low.. but the place i work at has a parking lot with retard ramps that have an sharp edge where the ramp meets the floor. Im already low, but any lower i think i'll get beached. Yes, the suspension is stiffer going over rough roads (as with any car with a sport suspension). 300 miles is not enough to make a solid judgement. It takes at least 1K miles for the break-in period. Maybe you should have stuck with the stock set up if it's too rough for you. Take a look at the Bilstein review thread for more info. First 100 miles were brutal I had to move the headrest to a much higher position and radar detector had to be readjusted every 10 minutes because suctions cups would lose grip lol. Now that I have had it for few weeks I'm slowly getting used to it. Stock suspension sucked. I'm glad I made the change. Every time I drove it on hwy and wind blew I thought the car will fly off the road .... It scared the crap out of me most of the time. New suspension travels beautifully on smooth highways however these are hard to come by in Illinois. I mostly drive in the city and I'm used to these imperfections by now. I have Whiteline 20mm adjustable (set on stiffest setting)... fingers crossed I'll be ok! So Ive heard different things... some say its better to go with a larger rear sway bar to compensate for the understeer and neutralize the car but others are going with a larger front because thats how it comes stock and of course there is more weight up there to be pushed. anyone have any recommendations? i was thinking of going with 22 whitelines on both front and rear and set the rear firm and front soft. but i have no idea. thanks.
