  1. Hey there. I'm still watching and haven't been able to diagnose the source of the oil leak. On a lighter note my coolant appears to have stopped evaporating. I may just live with the slow leak for now since it loses about 1/3qt per 1000 miles.
  2. Thanks so much @Sonder and @silverton. I have some work to do and will report back with my findings
  3. Hi All, Subaru 2010 3.6R 140K miles on odometer. I'm trying to diagnose a slow oil leak and slow disappearance of anti freeze from the overflow. I have to add 1/3 quart oil every 1000 miles. I have read this is normal in the Outback forums. Not sure if so, but it makes sense with the age of my car and engine tolerances loosening up. I've attached some pics. Hard to tell if from head gasket. I have also spilled oil from up top when filling so some of the sludge could have come from this. I did not spill during last oil change. Or maybe oil cooler hoses/ clamps just need to be replaced. Doesn't look like oil cooler seal needs to be replaced, but i'm just assuming.
  4. I have not done this however does not appear to be a big deal. I’d say go for it.
  5. I love how your quad tips turned out. I tried this a few years back. I did not like how the bumper turned out. I should have tried to fix it by bringing the exhaust tips up and cutting more of the bumper. Oh well. I have since gone back to stock. https://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4798560&postcount=111
  6. I did not get a chance to swap the bushings yet. I have the bushings in-hand though. I tightened the rear tophat bolts and this resolved the issue. The bolts were a little loose. I'll still swap the bushings. Thank you everyone for the help.
  7. Spare is tight. Still clunks. RSB bushings look shot so replacing those with Whiteline 22mm greaseless bushings.
  8. I went and checked the spare. Of course it was a little loose. Thank you @DugsSin Checking the top hat bolts and RSB bushings a bit later.
  9. OK I will take a look underneath and see what I can find. Fwiw the clunking sounds like it's coming from the trunk. Thanks
  10. Hey all, Been away for a few years . Legacy has been treating me well Currently installed: RCE blacks and RCE Bilsteins Upgraded RSB and FSB Perrin Endlinks I hear clunking in the rear on driveways driving over uneven pavement. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? Would LCAs resolve this issue? I have a small camber issue in the rear that I have been living with for probably close to 100K miles. Any other bushings I could replace because of wear and tear to stiffen-up things? Suspension still feels great. I haven't made suspension changes other than what is mentioned above, which occurred at about 50K-60K miles.
  11. http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5556361&postcount=901 http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4646515&postcount=256 You should be good without modification with a 1 inch drop. I've got 19x8.5 +38 with 245/40 on RCE blacks/Bilstein's.
  12. @humble rumble I am bit confused. Pardon my ignorance. The part number search for the rear brings up full assemblies however your photo shows inserts. Was the rear setup an option to do both?
  13. Out of curiosity, the konis can still be found, correct? I did a search for the part numbers 8610 1453 & 8010 1055 and still get a few hits. I still have my OG setup (on RCE Blacks/Bilsteins) and may consider getting these. Edit: GTeaser, just saw your comment regarding the inserts and rears.
  14. The eyelids help or are you looking for something else? http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5144754&postcount=3364
  15. It's the closest to us seeing a 5th gen legacy wagon. I like seeing it.
  16. It has already been cut. Can't cut any higher as I will hit metal. http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4798560&postcount=111 There is a metal portion of the bumper on the inside of the cutout. http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4786863&postcount=99
  17. If shipping cost wasn't so awful from Japanparts, i'd pick this up in a second as there is nothing stateside that will fit the Perrin quad tips on my car. Not a fan of the vents though Edit: I changed the pic not noticing that the lower piece i guess is separate at least according to this site. The lower piece is only about $107. If this would fit our cars, i wouldn't mind throwing down for it. Actually, you likely need the bumper too I included both pics. http://autostyle-usa.com/?pkey=item_info&i_code=CRA602418P0001&maker_url=corazon
  18. I couldnt get my eyelids to stick to the headlight using 3M double-sided tape. It seemed like the mold was warped a tiny bit and they would pop off after a few minutes. How did you mount the eyelids? Did you do anything special? Any modifications?
