  1. Forgot to post this last week, but on Thurs 10/26 around 5:30pm on 93S (south of 95 interchange) spotted a super clean, debadged, modified 4th Gen LGT (either silver or white, I forget now) that looked really great. Exhaust done, and lowered I think. Gave a wave as I passed by (I was in my new black Audi, so maybe not a wave you were looking for), but couldn't see if you were looking through the dark tint of your windows. Car looked great!
  2. Terrible parallel parking, but the commentary makes it amazing. https://www.facebook.com/uniladmag/videos/3430114320344936/
  3. No longer a hypothetical question for me... As some of you know my head gaskets failed recently and I had to sell my 5th Gen. Meet the "replacement": 2018 Audi S4 with Sport Package = Variable sport suspension, variable sport rear diff, painted brake calipers (obviously the reason I went for this package! ) Only 2 pedals, but the extra horses (and SWEET puddle lights) help me deal with the flappy paddle gear shifting...
  4. The dealer I took my broken car to estimated about $6k for the rebuild... $1500 to tear it apart, ~$4k for the motor, and then reassemble.
  5. Driving on Route 2 east yesterday around 5pm, saw a lowered, LOUD 4th Gen GT wagon with red wheels. Straight pipes, I'm guessing, based on how loud it was. Gave the driver a thumbs up, but I was in a Jeep because my LGT is broken, so may have been confusing. Car looked great, and sounded MEAN!
  6. Spent way more than $6k on this car , but just considering the brakes, suspension and wheels/rubber, I think it's reasonably priced... obviously there's an investment aspect that makes it more complicated, but given how much I love this car, I just want to find the right owner to bring her back! It's a unique sleeper that has been thoughtfully built and well cared for. Hopefully whoever buys her gives me visitation rights!
  7. I know... it's been a tough couple of days... I love this car like no other I have ever owned, it's been really fantastic. But with a new home, and the prospects of a family on the horizon, I think it's time to part ways with my baby. If you know of any worthy owners, send them my way! I just want to find a good home for her now, with an owner who will love and appreciate her the way that I have!
  8. My baby is for sale... :( Engine work needed, price reflects this ($6k). I am unbelievably sad. Mileage is high, but almost entirely highway (80 miles a day to/from work). Mods are tasteful and extensive. Lots of extras thrown in with the deal. Help me find her a good home!!! http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/wilmington-ma-2010-subaru-legacy-gt-engine-work-needed-263225.html
  9. Spotted a debadged ABP 4th Gen GT with quad exhaust on Monday afternoon around 5:30pm on 95S right at the 128 juncture. Car looked great!
  10. 2 LGTs yesterday! First one a silver 5th Gen traveling opposite direction of me on the Lynn Fells Pkwy around 7:45am, appeared to be female driven. Waved late, not sure if wave was returned. Second one was a silver (white?) 4th Gen LGT wagon traveling south on 93 around 5pm. 2 guys in the front seat, both returned the thumbs up I gave them as they passed by (and I prepared to exit)! Good looking wagon!
  11. Also spotted an ABP (I think) 4th Gen GT sedan yesterday around 3pm on Lynn Fells Pkwy... we were both out in the heart of the storm, hope you made it wherever you were headed safely!
  12. Not the same black GT as Sigma is spotting, but I saw one at the Stop n Shop in Medford last night around 6pm. Beautifully clean 4th Gen with aftermarket wheels (maybe exhaust too)... personalized license plate. No driver spotted, but car looked great!
  13. Well the wheels probably cost more than the car... so the logic checks out!
  14. This belongs on the front page... http://i.giphy.com/12W1UmyCabMAco.gif
  15. Spotted a silver 4th Gen GT turning into D&D on Rt 1 north this morning around 8am. I was in the far left lane so no wave, but car looked good!

  17. Not me... not out that way that day... not stock!
  18. Those tires have seen only (spirited) daily driving... guess I'll be making an appointment to have the LCA bushings looked at, and suspension in general. If it's just the black-steins lowering the car that is throwing the camber off, I agree that there should be enough wiggle room in the stock camber adjustment to at least get the fronts to -1.0*. So either Town Fair doesn't know what they are doing/talking about, or there is a worn item that is throwing camber off more than the 2* it's showing (and LCA is bringing it back to -2*). Honestly, at 143k miles, my money is on the latter... Thanks for the input!
  19. The toe was zeroed out last year, and then again 2 months ago (when I put my summer shoes back on)... I suppose it's possible that there was a lot of wear in between the alignment last year, and the alignment this year, but it seems unlikely. I didn't notice any significant wear on the tires when I put the summers on in late April/early May. Stock camber bolt adjustments are already maxed out (according to Town Fair Tire, who did the alignment last Friday), but I don't really know how to check that to verify their statement. Is there an easy way to check this... I'm just reporting/trusting what they said, which I understand is a sketchy proposition when dealing with a chain like that... I honestly don't really care about 1* vs 2* of camber, except if it is responsible for significantly shortening the life of my tires. Just had the new rubber put on this morning at a local shop, and the mechanic said he didn't see anything really wrong with the suspension that would make my camber be off by so much (as in nothing obviously broken)...
