Going with the Aussie theme...gonna assume it is from a Holden Astra SRi Turbo....but damn...it's real close to a Porsche, well maybe not that close, but it would take a side by side to see the dif.
I should have expected as much from the owner of the internet. Pretty slick searching, Tex.

Well, I'm back to just one sided. After looking at it with the turbo badge on it I decided I like it better with just the Liberty on the right side. That should make psucaptainkickass happy (which is really my sole purpose in life anyway)

Hi Guys...I have just "Debadged" the trunk of my '06 LGT sedan and thought it kinda looked neat with the "Subaru" badge remounted right under the Six Star Oval.......what do you think?:icon_lol:

I thought I would add this pic to this thread because someone mentioned leaving on the 2.5GT... I thought it would add a certain flare to the trunk... I know you can't see the other side, but the Subaru is gone from the left... Tell me what you think... I liked the Subaru under the badge too. gj. Jeff
NICE picture. But can I see the whole car?
I liked that original picture because it reminded me of the "top gear" stance when they introduce cars.... Anyway, you can see the whole trunk here in this one. Jeff

I just cleaned off the tailgate on my wagon this weekend. It is now a lot easier to wax. Years ago I owned a silver Mitsu Galant sedan that got whacked in the rear. My body guy did a great repair but couldn't get the badges before he finished, so I told him to leave them off. The car looked so much better, I also took off the Mitsu emblem on the front grill. I had upsized the wheels and tires with some silver lace OZ's and the whole package looked very upscale. About a week after getting the car back on the road, I watched our city meter cop walk around the car 4 times before he finally put my parking ticket under the wiper. After marking through what he had written twice, he finally settled on "Mercedes". It's fun being obscure.
Perhaps I'm on my own here, but I can't imagine why someone would put a badge on their car to make it look like something it isn't. It's like when put "SiR" or "Type-R" badge on their Civic EX's or putting an "S4" badge on their 1.8T. Why stop there? Put "NOS" stickers on the front bumper, too!
It only makes the more attractive to light fingered ars#$%^s who cannot tell the difference. Underbadge if anything and shock the hell out of the neighbours at traffic lights.
For some reason i debadged it and used goo gone 3 times and each side and when i wet the car i can still see the lettering. but when its dry it looks sharp as hell?
Don, Never had that problem before. I debadged back in February and just did a friends last week no problems. Try a wax cleaner or even scratch remover on a small area. I just used some wax and polish to ensure a smooth finish but it came right off with ease. Good Luck!
