Probably going to go do it today. Thanks for the response.
pwdrdayz
I'll apologize now as I'm sure this has probably been answered... What is longest anybody has waited before debadging? I have OBP outback and have resisted doing this for fear of noticeable color difference between debadged areas and surrounding area.

SactoPete
I believe that you can REPLACE the rear badge, your just can't completely de-badge because of the countersink and posts. I don't think it's bolted on. I'll actually be doing this this weekend, picked up a CF badge set from Robson Tuning, did the front already no problemo, but haven't gotten around to the rear yet. NYsFinest
Just got done debadging my car. I must of applied turtlewax 3x and although it looks great, if you look at it from a inch away on an angle you can make out the word subaru barely. I'm chalking it up to being a black car, but overall looks great.
G.T.Subie
The L7 is an overlay not a full badge. Go here http://www.grafxwerks.com/ Denial is your best friend

axis008
You can remove it. You'll be left with two holes. There is no such oval trunk emblem with the L7 logo on it already though. -ben

hutru01
I debadged my 06 LGT this past weekend. It was relatively easy. I used dental floss and WD-40. My car is only three months old so waxing wasn't necessary. Here is the pic. Sorry for the camera phone quality.

I bought mine used in March so it was about a year old and that's what I had to do. My vB Gallery

Fishline would probably be the best to use.

Just use some fishing line and it will take like 5 min.

Black Granite Pearl that had pinstriping installed at the port. After 2 years, it was peeling up, so I stripped it. (That was 2002.) It's not bad, but after a fresh wash, and in the direct sunlight, I still see the lines from the pinstripe. It's also spent its life in the North East, where the UV isn't as bad as some of the rest of the country. When Chuck Norris was born, the only person who cried was the doctor. I've been looking, and the only ones I can find are smaller for the impreza. I'd lke to see how it looks with the pinks.

NYsFinest
No matter what I use, at a certain reflection you can still see very very lightly shading where the badges use to be......but you gotta look hard. I was thinking of getting the area repainted.
