IcEWoLF
Turn signals, better nav system, HID option, and 2012 GT should have window trim blacked out too. A body kit for the gt model would be nice too.
Adoniram
Not sure if this had been posted yet but here it is: 2012 Legacy sedan, at LA Auto Show http://caraudiomag.com/pictures/2012-subaru-legacy-metallic-brown-rear http://caraudiomag.com/sites/default/files/images/00001/71/92/2012_subaru_legacy_in_metallic_brown_from_rear.jpg . . . DeltaSniper
I think my biggest gripe about the 5th gen over the 4th gen is the lack of frameless windows. In the event of a chemical or biological attack, after you finish sealing off all the other potential entrances to the cabin you have to use more duct tape on the 5th gen by sealing both the window itself as well as the door frame, whereas on the 4th gen you're just one and done. Completely unacceptable. LOL!!!! You know, if you were so concerned about NBC hazards, any form of consumer vehicle is clearly not for you. Clearly , this is the vehicle for you. http://www.fprado.com/armorsite/Abrams_Pics/M1A2-TUSK-upg-2005-1.jpg Equipped with an overpressure system to keep any form of NBC hazards at bay... If you click on the link, it clearly states 2012 model. I don't know how accurate that site is, but they have accurate info for every other model posted. *Edit* Here's another source confirming the presence of the 2012 Legacy model at the 2010 LA Auto Show http://www.automobile.com/2012-subaru-legacy-review.html
LegGTLT
It's the same sheetmetal as the Outback... Fortunately (or unfortunately for us) it is not the same sheet metal at all. JDM (and ROW I believe) all kept slimmer profiles on their wheel arches. Open that pic and a new 2010 US OB and look at them both. Totally different. Please PM joeleodee For All Site Questions. Yes, there were several models at the show, including the 2012 Legacy. This isn't that hard people... There were many 2012 model vehicles at the 2010 LA auto show, including: 2012 Buick LaCrosse 2012 Buick Regal GS 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG 2012 Porsche Cayman R 2012 Volkswagen Eos 2012 Fiat 500 Cinquecento 2012 Ford Focus ST 2012 Infiniti M Hybrid 2012 Mazda 5 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV 2012 Nissan GT-R
gibjer
A different vehicle but incorrectly labeled All of which were significant debuts. Subaru wouldn't show a '12 while production on the '11s continued if it was just a carry over. Adoniram
Well, I'm really not worried about it. It may or may not be the '12 model. I saw a site that claimed it as such, and thought I'd share here. I simply posted in good faith, hoping the information was accurate.

TheWeatherWarrior
That is no 2012...no way. I'm sure you hit up one of the reliable places like Motor Trend or Car and Driver...you'll see that image as the original source. And people wonder why I watermark nearly every single one of MY pictures. It's a source confirmation too. I heard that they are introducing a fifth gen GT wagon for the US in 2012! Woo! Can anyone else back me up on this?Where is your source...MT and CaD reported otherwise. two strikes against lever-actuated parking brakes, only one against electric motor-actuated parking brakes Actually....on strike for a rare and new set-up versus the old way which probably makes up 90% of the market. Weighted for actual models and number of vehicles on the road...I think two stikes for traditional versus on strike for ebrake is Advantage: traditional hand brake. spy shots of the 2012 Impreza. Nothing really that new, likely posted on NASIOC or other threads on LGT already....but relevant here only because I see Fuji Industries is certainly going in the WRONG direction. Max Capacity
Ditto, I guess I'm not the only one who likes that. I won't say loves it but it 10X's better then a outback or the sedan. Are the wheel arches really softer or is it the color and angle ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). I Donated thefultonhow Posted April 15, 2011 I Donated Share Posted April 15, 2011 I actually might like it slightly better than the 4th gen wagon. The 5th gen sedan is much worse than the 4th gen sedan, IMO, because of the shape of the rear. But the wagon taillights have grown on me, and my major complaint about the 5th gen Outback is now the SUV ground clearance and plastic cladding. And the headlights look more modern to me than the 4th gen ones.
ShrinerMonkey
Not a fan. Even the TSX with it's weird beak looks better than that. While the previous generation Outback looked like a raised sport wagon, the new Legacy wagon looks like a lowered CUV. However, I suppose it looks a little better than the Jetta sportwagen which is the only wagon in the US left in it's price range.
LegGTLT
Month bump?!?!?!?! I used up all my internet points with the member "The B4" awhile ago during the launch of the 2010 Legacy. Oops. However, if anyone wants to ask him about the 2012 LGT you should as he has many connections, but he won't come in here since I started this thread. Sad panda. kenzo
Maybe the Legacy GT will continue its trend from 2010-2011 with the new 2.0 and CVT from the base Impreza... could call it a Spec I.
SubieDriver
Maybe when they add DI the 2.0 will be enough to power the Legacy. Until then, it's probably too weak for US buyers.
