Do we need name cards for this weekend? It's a smallish group so maybe not? Remember to bring camp chairs.

How many "Johns" are in the group?  I am BAD with names.  Can we just refer to everyone as "friend"?  Like when children meet at the park for the first time, "Hi friend, want to play?".

+1 pile of rust surrounded by LGT wagon

As I am putting together all the stuff I am bringing, including breakdown tools, and a set of ramps, ( @Enlight, are you really going to bring the Quickjacks?!) I am very happy for having the wagon.

No idea how I'd get all this stuff into a sedan without a prybar or load straps. Lol!

On the plus side, much of it is taking a one-way trip to the meet to either be consumed by all, or parts getting passed along to others.

I am bringing the wagon, may be even washed before departure. If I am lucky the aftermarket radio with navigation, yay!

Boys are bringing the red BRZ.

@m sprank For us I will have to make the name tags, but friend is also fine 😂

@JJBerk How can we refund you for all the food supplies? Thank you for offering to take care of it in the first place, I want to make sure we cover our share of your expenses.

I'll take any spares that people leave you with (if any...)

Please let me know if I should bring anything food/drink-wise (or otherwise).

I'm starting off tomorrow afternoon as it's a 13hr drive for me and I'm still not to the point that I can knock that out in a day.

13hrs is a LONG day driving.  There is a reason DOT limits truckers hours on road per day.  Be safe.  We all want to see you, in one piece.

I plan to drive into Frederick, MD on Friday and fill the cooler with local brews.  Then head to the meet.  Maybe I will wash the 4Runner.  Maybe.

I did a road trip to SF and back in my WRX in 2015. Longest day was Aurora, CO to Indianapolis, IN. I had wanted to stay in Kansas that night but it was snowing and the Vail Pass was closed for 3 hours while they cleaned up some accidents. I left Aurora at 9am and, around 1am somewhere in IL, realized I wasn't going to get to Indianapolis without a short nap. Finally got to my wife's aunt's place at 3:30am.

@suboperator, I’m not too concerned. If you want to slide cash our way Saturday, fine, but I don’t expect it. As I said, it’s my penance for not having a Legacy anymore! 🤣😂 Thanks for asking!

I did Boston to Miami (~25 hours) in one shot rotating with one other driver.  Will never do that again.

On the way home our two other travelers each took a turn as well.  I still wouldn't do it without staying somewhere overnight.  You don't get real sleep in the car so when it's your turn again you're barely any more rested.

I'll wait til the campfire to my road trip horror stories. This trip, I'm trying to stay with how much I can do in a day of sun.

I'm 517 miles away. 95% of that is interstate 81.

In the past week, i've managed almost an hour on the freeway before taking a scenic detour. I'm hoping I can find my "south dakota vibe" and set the cruise.

Im stopping by Gettysburg because Ive never been and it's on the way.
