Ahhh that makes sense. The water tank is probably natural gas heated so they don't want people ramming into it and breaking a gas line.

Yup, exactly. And next to it is a gas furnace so it's a no car zone. Haha

Ah. And here I was thinking you was a cool kid and stole it.

Not quite, I guess I'm not a cool kid.

Did you swap to vf52 coolant lines?

I'm blanking right now, forgive me it's finals week in school, but I believe we used the VF40 lines.

I couldn't get the vf40 hardlines to bolt to my 52. My guess is that you used the 52 hardlines but the same soft lines from the 40.

I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

With the delivery of my IAG fuel rails and braided fuel lines I finally have nearly all of my parts to complete my build! Just waiting on the Company 23 vacuum line tee.

Very nice! Now we can finish and get that thing back on the road.

My thoughts exactly! The vacuum line tee should be arriving today and now I patiently wait until we can get it all back together on the 2nd... :spin: Mexico will be great and all but I can't wait to get this thing together and tuned when I'm back.

Well I sold my original set of Brembos a few weeks back to free up some cash at the time. My intention was to pick up another set down the road closer to when I would be installing them. That is until a local guy began parting out his 04 STI that had been totaled by a semi truck backing into the front end while it was parked. The deal on the front and rear calipers was a steal and way too good to pass up. Needless to say I ended with a set of Brembos again sooner than I had planned...

Given the price, the fact that they are in better condition than the previous set and that the guy lived 5 minutes away I couldn't help myself. 80k miles, off the same and original car and pretty flawless paint. I'm picking up the brake booster and master cylinder from the same car. From there my list includes:

-New rotors

-New pads

-Rebuild kits

-Stainless Steel brake lines

Ben and I worked on the wagon a bit more today. We uninstalled the VF52 to make room to do the IAG oil line, pull the intake manifold to install the IAG TGV deletes, IAG fuel lines, ID1000's, all new gaskets, started on the IAG fuel lines, and reinstalled the vf52. Overall very productive day and I'm looking forward to finishing it all up!

Also swapped out my red hella horns for my brothers black ones for a bit more stealth look and tie into all my black grimmspeed pieces.

Going to be finishing up the fuel lines, installing the fuel pump and installing the intercooler on Wednesday and flashing the base map before my tune on Friday.

Dropped the car off at Eastside Subaru to have the airbag replaced. Also was able to get my dash warranted due to the sticky dash recall, however there is no estimated time as to when that will be in stock.

Wait so they are going to replace your entire dash under warranty? Ive yet to read about this " sticky dash " recall.

Super cool wagon btw.

Correct, the issue is the adhesive seeps out of the dash and creates tacky finish on the surface of the dash and because of that Subaru Issued a warrantee recall. And thanks!

My dash is getting replaced by Chaplins on the 25th. I'll let you know how it goes. Dirty dealer tech hands all over my wagon. Not looking forward to it.

It's always a cause for concern, but definitely let me know how it goes. They did a great job on the airbag today at Eastside and Nichi is my service advisor out there so I feel like I'm in good hands.
