SCHM1AN
Stupid question... are you going to keep UEL headers? That would be an interesting sound-- a hybrid between the baritone of a V8 and the boxer rumble
btlegacy
Headers are going to be based on what fits best. They are going to be the block hugger type and fairly equal 2005 Legacy GT 5MT Buy my stuff Here So I can build my 6.0L V8 Legacy GT Here

dr_sharp
The best part of this build? Finally being able to say "YES" when people ask if it's a V8 Not sure how I missed this thread in the past... probably b/c of the subforum it is in. lol
Diggerdan11
This is so awesome. Glad to see you Subaru guys giving a little love to the LS. The LS2, LQ4 and LQ9 are great engines and are capable of some pretty good power. My Silverado SS has the LQ9 and there are plenty of guys putting out 600+ hp on their stock LQ9’s with no issues. Im excited to see how this turns out.

frank_ster
we have been chating in my thread about oil pan and steering rack clearence. why cant you raise the engine up ? intake hitting the hood or the bell housing hitting the firewall and floor ?
