Just did this install today. SVXDC took a couple of days to reply to my email, but then shipped the harness very quickly and it arrived fast. Less than two weeks from first email to arrival. Used a Pioneer 4400 head unit. Pre-installed my RCA cables for amps I'll put in shortly, but fired everything up and its working great. Sounds significantly better than the stock unit too. There's a *very* slight gap to the left of the shifter section just under the new hvac controls, but its so minor I don't think anyone would ever notice it. All in all, I love it. Only thing I regret is not doing this years ago (It's an '06 that I bought new). Thanks a ton for the help on this thread! Pete

I bought this kit a few years ago and am shamed to say I never got around to installing it. Was a bit intimidated by taking the whole radio apart etc. Well, decided F*&^ it I was going to give it a shot, and the result? ....Dagnamit why didn't I do it earlier?!! Even though the unit was sitting in various boxes and not-ideal conditions for a few years (I really don't know how long it has been... I bought one of the first-gen ones), I finally installed it, and it works perfectly. Took me about 2 hours or so start to finish. Instructions were perfect. Thanks JazzyMT! Pete

Sounds like my car - my wife borrowed it last night, so it could have been. It's not a SpecB, just a LGT, but I took off the GT badges, and changed out the subaru stars with a CF stars badge. Rims are dark grey BBS RGR, could be mistaken at highway speeds for a specB I suppose.....

I work down in Stockton, and regularly see a pearl white LGT on Enterprise off of West lane... anyone on the board? I'm in the BSM LGT w/ BBS rims.

Dark blue GT sedan on H street in Sacto at about 1:15pm, going west while I was going east. You waved, but I was so busy yapping to my wife in the passenger seat I didn't see you until you were just passing.

Saw a really nice white LGT wagon on 50 going west today near Watt at about 7:15pm. Nice rims! I was in the silver LGT.

ABP LGT w/ dark rims, exhaust, i-club sticker, and I even got a peek at a Cobb RSB, heading west on 50 near the 50/80 interchange in Sac tonight around 7pm. Nice car! I was in the BSM LGT / the gray rims....

Hmmmm... I may be old, but at least I'm fat.

White sedan last night... looked like a GT, but just said "Legacy" on the back. May have been semi-debadged like me? On 50 going west around 6pm near Mather Field. Pete

I saw a white GT wagon too - this AM at about 8:45 on Hwy 50, heading out of Sac. It looked lowered, black rims I think (tough to tell at 70mph). Driver waved when he passed... I was in the silver LGT sedan.

Yo... well not really "spotted", but I thought I'd put the pics I just took for the "calendar" thread into the "locals" thread for giggles... I hardly ever see legacy's in Sacto and when I do they are being driven mostly by Soccer moms....

Garnet Red Wagon in the Taylor's Market parking lot near Land Park around 1pm today.

Spotted a red LGT at about 9:45AM on Hwy 50 near folsom. Tinted windows, factory spoiler, otherwise stock. I think there was two guys in it but the tint was pretty dark. I waved, but my tint is pretty dark too...
