I've already outgrown my wagon... a Forester-sized AWD turbo is next on my list. Heck, I'll even look at the Exiga if it comes out in (turbo) GT-trim. I had a standard (non XT) forester as a loaner and was not impressed at all. This may not be the best interior but I think it is decent looking. I'll prolly b getting one of these for my wife and we would seek the best model with all the upgrades. I'm curious what that would look like. I can't wait to have my ass kissed by the dealer when I tell him what we want. Hopefully there's a nav option, I promised my wife I'd get that in her next car. I think it would look okay that way, and especiall with leather and nav too. Hopefully they have a nav option that fits nicely in that radio spot. Yeah that's an 07 STI dash, and it still looks like shit 07 Forester picture did not allow hotlinks. The Forester and Impreza have shared the same dash for years now. There is nothing wrong with the Impreza interior. Yes it's cheaper than the Legacy... it's an economy car. Many manufacturers share interior treatments across carlines. Economies of scale. For a small SUV the impreza interior will be super nice. Most small suv's have nasty interiors. The crv interior is REALLY cheap. It feels cheaper than the current Forester. And who knows if the dash panels are the same. I drove an 08 STI on Friday and the top of the dash is different from my WRX. The forester also has cloth inserts int the doors. In this day and age, there is no reason that a car made by Subaru should have such a shitty interior. It's not just me who feels that way, read all the professional reviews. They say the same thing the Impreza is a $17k car... The WRX and STI have always been hopped up economy cars... you pay for performance... The reviews also say no one will buy imprezas and it's been hitting record numbers... The plastics aren't cheap... sit in a wrx and all you see is gray/black... it's virtually the same style as the tribeca but the tribeca looks more expensive because there is color differentiation. The Mazda 3 has a much cheaper interior but the styling looks more expensive. It's not a legacy inteior no... but you can't honestly sit in a civic, lancer, mazda 3 and tell me the impreza interior is cheap. check the panel gaps, quality of plastic, etc. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A forester is an entry level suv... do you see that CRV interior (the number one selling vehicle in the segment)? go check one out and check out a current forester... The current forester looks cheap... but the crv interior is cheap. The impreza interior will be a big step up in this segment. Small suv's are a profit generator for manufacturers... they can cut out a lot of stuff like projector headlights and charge more.
