13 years here, although I don't frequent as much anymore. I haven't had the wagon for three years now. Still driving my grandma Accord around.

Buy an Impreza for a first car if you want a Subaru. Hatch back if you are into those. Any year, they are all good. Slow, reliable, AWD. Or a Honda. Really, any Honda. I had a bunch between age 16 - 25. Best decision ever. Plus, they were slow so that's probably why I'm still alive at 40.

^^^^True. I joined back in Feb 2005 when I bought my wagon. Haven't had it for 3 years and have dropped off in frequency here, but still come back every once in a while to check in. It's like coming home. Lots of new members, but lots of old OG guys still here, which is great.

The bronze took a couple of years to catch on, but I think it's now one of the best colours they came out with. Hell, they are painting Bentleys and Maseratis in shades of brown, and they look fantastic. There was a brown BMW colour that was issued in the late 90's... I think on the Z3 at the time that was quite nice too.... ah, memories.

My wife and I have a policy where we don't post kid pics online. She doesnt' do it on her Facebook, I don't do it on well, this forum. It's all I use. I was going to Youtube my vasectomy and share it with you all, but now that I think about it, I should keep that private too. I do have a sweet video of my oldest doing her Kata training for her belt upgrade next Saturday that brings a tear to my eye, but you will just have to imagine it. Or my kids doing an almost uninterupted Peak to Creek Whistler run that is about 11kms(?) long (one of the longest in N. America) but I can't post it. i'm tough on them but they make me super proud on a daily basis.

I have 3 young kids, so life is pretty crazy at Chateau Gire. 8 year old daughter, 6 year old daughter, 15 month old son. The daughters are in karate, baseball, skiing, dancing, French immersion at school, etc etc. My snip surgery will be scheduled for the Spring, or whenever I sack up and get around to it. No pun intended.

I too love Miatas and want one for a project / summer car. One day... Really too bad that BC Miatas are too expensive used. I will have to look at importing a US one. THere was a BC one that was beat to shit and the guy still wanted 2500 bucks for it. Had a ton of mileage and the paint and god knows what else was toast.

I also heard that common toothpaste is a great DIY headlight polish. I haven't tried it. Where did I see that again....?

Cleaned up my clouded pitted 05 headlights with meguiers plastic polish yesterday. What a difference on my cleared headlights.
