aaronlee0821 Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 you live in ridgefield park and i have once not even seen you?? anyways.. there's a few good locations. there's always edgewater, or any restaraunts on route 17, umm.. or local in-town locations.. van saun park in paramus/riveredge, ross docks in edgewater/englewood cliffs, the list goes on.. although i would prefer the ross docks/fort lee historic park since the park rangers dont mind car meets and the scenery is just freakin awesome.. van saun park, if you have over 10 cars the security will start bothering you about permits and whatnot. im trying to think of something where it's easy for everyone to get to.. aaronlee0821 Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 yeah. i dont think he was having a good day either. i tried to be nice and polite the whole time, but its kind of hard if the cop was giving me an attitude and being a complete dick the entire time. i pulled over in a safe place on the shoulder, cut the engine, turned on hazards, opened all windows, turned the dome/map lights on, and kept my hands on the steering wheel. but as soon as he came up to me, he blurted "what you speeding for??". I told him "i was moving with the flow of..." he cuts me off "give me the papers". when i tried to talk again, he was like "i dont want to hear it, get your papers out". i didn't want to argue or show any attitude towards him so i just told him my license is in my wallet, reg and insurance is in the glove compartment, and just pulled it out for him. he then goes to his car for a good 25-30 minutes and comes back with two tickets and my license, reg, and insurance paper.. he hands it over and says, "stop speeding and get rid of the window tint. now get out" as soon as he turned around i just threw everything into my back seats, started my car and just drove off. i really hate those parkway patrol officers.. freakin rude and disrespectful. the guy looked younger than me too. I think you turned into Midland Ave towards paramus.. I was heading home. I cant believe I still never got to stop him or even meet the guy yet i see that car almost every other day in my town! I never spent much time in R. Park... I am usually around Teaneck or up at work in Ridgewood...
