SubOperator
As promised here is my dash cam setup with rear view camera. I like the quality and the ease of installation. Front view, rear view is in upper left corner. Monitor turns off after 60 seconds and at any moment you can see what's being recorded by touching the mirror (it's touch panel, no physical buttons). Scale of monitor picture vs mirror itself: Rear view when car is in reverse: This is where the rear view camera is mounted on rear gate. it's not really visible from outside and does not obstruct view from inside out. Closer view: Car at Yawgoo tonight: 2005 LGT Wagon Limited 6 MT RBP Stage 2 - 249K 2007 B9 Tribeca Limited DGM - 272K SOLD - 2005 OB Limited 5 MT Silver - 245K SOLD - 2010 OB 6 MT Silver - 205K
Smithcraft
It sure is not, hope I can use my USB camera to check on it without taking the intake off. Mike used a long and thin extension, a swivel, and one of those offset socket things, that is similar to O2 sensor sockets. Or I think that is what he used. I was inside since it was raining. But those were the tools he had when he was putting the IC back on. SC 1994 Legacy MI 2008 Legacy GT specB 2023 Crosstrek Limited

SC Idk about access but you can easily see it with the intercooler off. But yea I can see getting it with just a wobble socket and an extension. Just be careful not to slip off. Smithcraft
While not exactly for the Legacy, I did put a screen protector on my AccessPort. The screen was scuffed up a bit, and now it's nice and mostly shiny. The top edge is a bit messy, and there's a dust bit in the lower right corner, but it looks much better! Anyone considering such madness should remember to trim about half a millimeter along each edge. awfulwaffle
I have a 1/4" u-joint and cut down 12mm socket specifically for getting at that sensor. Trying to wrap my head around how the sensor could be directional, given it's a piezo contact mic. What are the odds the angle is meant to prevent mangling the cable? No other way to install it without stretching the cable or having it contact the block at a weird angle, to my eye
awfulwaffle
Also, drove my car to Wisconsin and had my 13k mile Exedy Stage I clutch slip towards the end of the drive, applying half pedal in 4th. Maybe just because it had just been driven 6 hours, but sighhhhhhh
Pleides
Did the mod where you cap the intake runner vacuum port on #4 and use a vacuum T for the fuel pressure sender to the BOV vacuum line. Reset the ECU, hoping that my ever-present stutter will go away. Car behaves better, I think? However it definitely still had some stutter. Need to go about checking the grounds next. MaasaiWarrior
Did a bit of work last night, new JMP turbo installed and grimmspeed intercooler. Took me about 5 hours overall with a few of the usual hiccups getting it all fitted. Time to datalog this afternoon. 08 Spec B, insta: @08_spec_b, 10 SH Forester insta: @shfozzy
DoctorDaveLGT
Almost have everything needed for the facelift before I drop it off at the shop for paint. Waiting on the front under spoiler for the 2.5GT bumper and called a last minute audible to purchase a STI bumper. Not looking forward to shipping knowing how much the front under spoiler was. Hopefully I can consolidate a few other items that I've been waiting to ship.
Febreze Mee
New wheels, who dis? Don't you just love functionality?! It's been awhile since I used the rear cargo space to this capacity. Feels good. The wheels are functional too Picked up a set of RPF1s from OAKOS for $1015 shipped. Two in silver & two in gunmetal. 18x8 +35 all around. Super stoked. Headed out to have them mounted and balanced soon. MILKRUN - Click Here

rvnmaniac
Traded it in for a brand new 2019 AWD Altima SL. Will pick it up tomorrow. This will be the first time in 15 years I will not have ownership of a Subaru vehicle. Seems weird.
Nonamedude
I thought he said something about getting them powder coated to match. I mean did you both intentionally mismatch or was it just a really good deal? Wheels are so expensive. I suppose I can't say too much though since my road bike and mountain bike have a combined $3k in wheels technically. Gotta love the employee purchase. Febreze Mee
Oh boy! Mom, I made it I always wanted to be a part of club L/R for the second! We gotta do the same thing - all two of us. I made sure to dip my fingers in oil and prep the lens for these photos, since we love potatoes so much. I will post better photos at some point. These were the last two in gunmetal, so I will be powder coating the two silver ones to match, eventually. Looks like I will need to lower it a little more to eliminate wheel gap. Ultimately, it's similar to Gex's setup. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/gexs-2005-rbp-wagon-218923.html The only difference is I have -10 offset on him and my tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. At some point this weekend I need to throw on the LGT rear LCAs I've been holding onto, knock out bushings, and then take the wagon to PIA for an alignment. Everyone seems to like that place. I thought walking out with a set of quality, good looking, albeit mismatched, wheels for $1k was ideal? What happened? Candy
Replaced the driver's side actuator. What a pain in the ass. I am a petite flower (5' 110 lbs). I don't know how normal sized peeps can do it. I scraped up my knuckles, bleed on my new car, but finally got it done. Had to take out the window and the track. So thankful for the posted videos and instructions. Saved me $400, which is what the dealer wanted to do this.
Febreze Mee
Look at you go! That's what we're here for. You're a leg up on most, as they would just shell out the hundreds for convenience, instead of taking the time to learn and do it themselves, while saving those hundreds. Notorious
So do you guys front F/R split or L/R split? I think F/R split may be tacky lol, I did a L/R split. It’s funny when someone asks me if I got new wheels because they see the other side of my car for the first time.
Febreze Mee
So I can look forward to questions as such. Whoo hoo. That is pretty hysterical. Yeah, I concur with the F/R look being tacky. Gunmetal on driver's side, because that's what I want to see. Everyone else get's second pick. HAVE FUN WITH THE SILVER LOSERS! They all look good. Gunmetal is the move for the theme I'm going for, however. MILKRUN - Click Here

Tell that to the Hyundai rally team (in 2017) I think it could be cool but only if it was dramatic. Gun metal and bronze. Black and gold. Black and white.
