  1. Just fantastic! You've got so many little detail mods I want to see pic's of them all. I need to add some of those Yperion parts to my list. What kinda of power is she putting down and how's the delivery with the twinscroll?
  2. JDM Double DIN dual zone AV panel set & hazard button for sale. Great condition, everything works perfectly. Price includes shipping & paypal fee to anywhere in the lower 48. Asking: $OLD
  3. Agree with @Febreze Mee, never liked these. Although I will say the combo of the titanium silver and your cleared tails...I don't hate the rears as much as I typically do.
  4. @SoobyDoobyDoo Thanks! I honestly didn't know the S402 came with different ones either until they popped up on the auction one time a few months ago and I started looking into it. They should definitely move more air than the OEM 5 blade fans. Little interesting fact though is the part numbers for these show that they were also used on USDM cars so they should be available state-side and new. I went with these because even after shipping they should net out cheaper. AC Fan & Motor Assembly # - 73310FG001 S402 Radiator Fan Part #'s (It doesn't appear Subaru sells this as a whole assembly, but haven't spent a ton of time researching) - Fan # - 45121FG000 - Shroud # - 45122FG001 - Motor # - 45131FG001
  5. @WRX USA Not yet, still in the exploratory stages and we're leaving the dash apart for when the control door arrives. I'm with you on the LHD/RHD specific ducting as I already had some pieces from the pic before I won the auction. Actually told them to throw out the whole center console and just ship the control door with the shifter surround ducting pieces to save some shipping costs. Haven't been able to track down a LHD version of the piece that sits directly under the cup holders. We're hoping the ducting that surrounds the shifter isn't off that much even though I already confirmed there are LHD/RHD versions through Subaru part #s. The biggest piece we're concerned about is getting the control door to work and I'm really hoping there isn't a difference between JDM & USDM hvac motors to where a JDM motor is required to make it work. Admittadly, your question just made me realize I haven't even looked at the USDM HVAC to see if there is a spot for the control door to mount. So fingers crossed on that one ha. If it comes down to just ducting issues our plan is to doing some custom flexible ducting or trim and plastic weld certain areas to compensate for the LHD/RHD differences. I'll still look for LHD pieces but my search efforts for the past 2 years has been fruitless.
  6. Not today but over the weekend. Swapped out the bumper "vents" for an unpainted pair. Think I like the contrast better than the painted version and echos the sedan bumper. Also got the JDM cargo fan option wired up and working. This thing is sweet! Very quiet and moves a good amount of air. May have to hotbox the wagon one time to see just how much and how quickly it moves air. Also bought some more parts over the weekend....there was an S402 getting parted on the auctions so I snagged a couple items. The Euro console style shift boot trim in gunmetal, McIntosh double-din panel (piano black), S402 radiator/AC condenser fans (S blades), and the part I'm most excited for.....HVAC control door for the rear console heater option. This piece has been on my list for a long time.
  7. @Infosecdad I'm paraphrasing Lord Helmet a little, but I see your tips are as embossed as mine! They are awesome to look at.
  8. If you don't have it already, do yourself a favor and get a Fluidampr crank pulley. You won't regret it.
  9. Alright, have to report back with a correction. I was misinformed on the footwell lights. The blue bulbs are soldered in and the white incandescent bulbs are the ones that can be easily replaced. Got a little hands on with it at the shop. Putting in the red LEDs makes an interesting light but I may cut the blue bulb connector to just run white lights only or maybe work up the muster to try and solder in a different color bulb, but that's not a priority at the moment.
  10. I don't think the position for the fronts is a bad idea. Would imagine that would lead to less wear/tear and accidental kicks from both driver and passenger compared to dead center. The rears I would definitely prefer the lower B pillar vs. where you have them for that same reasoning.
  11. @SoobyDoobyDoo Here's a visual for reference. I can't remember where exactly off the top of my head but they tap in so they also illuminate with your courtesy lights when you open the doors. @Fenrir1 The LED bulbs can be changed without soldering if you're interested in changing up the color. I'm doing red on my set to match the rest of the interior. Always found it funky that they did did the red and blue interior light combo.
  12. For sale is all the needed parts to add a 12v plug to the rear cargo area of your wagon. Link below is the thread for installation. Price includes shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 and Paypal fee. https://www.legacygt.com/topic/5463-12v-receptacle-in-legacy-wagon-install/ Price: $OLD
  13. Couple items for sale. Prices are OBO and include PayPal fee but not shipping. McIntosh Subwoofer Trim - $OLD - JDM McIntosh subwoofer trim piece. Great condition, no broken tabs/mounts and fits great. Meant for an 8" sub, will need to trim your rear cargo piece as pictured in order to install. SpecB Shifter Surround w/ red stitch boot - $125 - SpecB 6 spd shifter surround. SpecB badge was removed and trim has been wrapped black to match the JDM double din. Shift boot is Nappa leather with red stitching (1" shorter than OEM) from Redline Goods. Great condition, no broken tabs or mounting points. Selling because I've switched to the Euro console.
  14. Yea, that's one thing I've always debated about but always end up preferring the waist spoiler. I think the misalignment of the lights would bother me more if the car wasn't white. Also always liked how the waist spoiler aligns with and accentuates the body line on the rear quarters flowing around the rear and connecting them. It's that subtle little detail that mostly goes unnoticed that makes me like it all the more.
  15. @shralp Yep that's pretty much it. It's a little tight getting to the bottom screws in the back but not terrible. Two harnesses to disconnect and that's it. I also didn't do this myself but the S402 exhaust tips got installed on the Q300 mufflers today. Feels a little sacrilegious to chop up those mufflers but I am LOVING the end result.
  16. Potentially, I may have misspoke. There are 2 different parts numbers 66049AG300 & 66049AG310, and it's hard to make sense of. I'm pretty sure every dash color is black and its just the lower pieces that have the color variance but could be wrong. Below are the fitment charts for both part #'s from Subaru Parts Plus. Haven't taken the time to cross check other sites. It does seem its not simply a NA vs GT/XT difference. 66049AG300: 66049AG310:
  17. @310Z My typical go to for tint is. 50% windshield & sun/moonroof - 20% front windows, 15% everything else. I typically upgrade the reverse lights to the brightest I can find to offset some lost night visibility but it's not bad. IMO the 15% also helps dramatically if you ever have a moron behind you with their brights on. Edit: I'll add that I only go with ceramic tint as well for the IR reduction.
  18. Yep, that damn sticky dash. I thought I got lucky on mine but it started creeping in while it was in the shop for all of 2020/2021. Too late to take advantage of the recall and no goodwill gestures from Subaru . Taking care of it now though along with new gauge cluster lens and replacing 2 of the 3 hvac actuators since there's no better time. @xt2005bonbon I have the same fear of it creeping back but decided if it does then I'll go the custom upholstery route. @seanyb505 Dashes should still be available, I ordered mine from the dealer about 3 weeks ago. Apparently I had ordered the wrong dash after VIN verification (thought all 05-09s were the same except for color) and they reached out to verify and made sure it was the correct one. Picked it up at the dealer 2 days later. Guess I ordered a 2.5i dash instead of a GT by mistake and they were nice enough to discount the GT dash to the base dash price. Itching to get everything back together. New dash, new lens, Euro console w/ red LEDs, and Madrig's CF kick panels for it, and OEM gunmetal trim pieces. I don't know what the hell happened to my cluster lens. Looking at it reminds of the scene from The Other Guys where Will Ferrell's Prius gets stolen and they find it after a bunch of homeless people had an orgy in it.
  19. Got the wing on and I love it! Honestly was a little skeptical on the paint design when I just saw the painted wing by itself but once it was on all that went away. Hard to get decent shots of it because the car is tucked in a corner. And before anyone mentions anything - the paint matches, the car is just really dusty.
  20. Getting excited for tomorrow. Picking up the freshly painted body parts and dropping off at the shop along with the S402 mufflers. I'm probably going to ask if I can put @madrig's spoiler on while I'm there ha. Little sneak peak and refresher of the parts. Emotion Fukuoka rear bumper (taped off portion is a satin black), Madrig CF wing (Liberal style), OEM sport side skirts and JDM mirror cover garnishes. Trying to decide if I'm going to post my full set of strakes/spats for sale or keep for the parts hoard. Probably hoard.
  21. @KZJonny Yes, the GS bracing is still compatible with the STI MC. I swapped the STI master cylinder in mine with all the other brake work but I haven't had a chance to test it personally yet since we're doing a bunch of other things at the same time and just consistently crappy weather recently. I personally hated the feel of the LGT brakes the first time driving the car back after purchase. Every car I've owned has had better brake feel short of my '99 Jeep XJ, ymmv. @SoobyDoobyDoo Things are moving. Dropped off the wing, bumper, skirts, and mirror garnishes for paint this morning and should be done early next week. Picking up a new dashboard from Subaru within the next few hours and running it up to shop later tonight. That was a last minute audible, he had the entire dash apart working on other wiring and I just decided to get the new one since the sticky is creeping in on mine and what better time. I personally wanted to try and tackle this one but I don't foresee any free time between tax season and baby #2 due in May.
  22. @Code Your post reminded me I was supposed to follow up. The color on my calipers is Prismatic's Dusted Candy Blue. Posting the pic of it for convenient reference, wheels are gunmetal. That color with hyper silver should look really good. I like your philosophy and don't think it's cliche, but might be biased as I'm pretty much doing the same on mine. Only color outside of the white/cf is the blue grampus signals, blue plated JDM headlights, calipers, and then the ION fogs to pay homage to the rally colors. I guess the taillights would be the exception but kinda a moot point.
  23. Appreciate it! I know what you mean all to well. I kinda reversed my philosophy with my TSX. Removed the manufacturer's badge and added the Type S badge instead on the rear. It's extremely rare that anyone knows what the car is so it all still works out ha.
