Now his motors a ticking time bomb b/c hes got boost leaks running a stg2 VF52. Im really hoping you have a wideband to see how bad its really running at times. My motor isnt going to blow because of boost leak... although i wouldnt put anything past this car. And no im not parting this car out. If anything that bigger piece looks curved, so i think right away a bearing of some sort. In any of your gears do u get a whine sound, similar to a supercharger? That tends to be a sign of bearing wear/failure in the trans. But certainly nothing from those gears resembles the shards...... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No. Turbo not attached to gearbox (long lumpy thing under the car) plus if the original Turbo had blown chunks into the 'engine' (that's the big lumpy thing under the hood) then you would have even more issues than just the transmission.
