Man this system is PERFECT! I love it! The fit is perfect too, it dosen't stick out farther on the right like in the earlier units.

Thanks, brother Wayne. :)

I'm going home to check and see if my silencers will fit. Need that to appease the wifey. :(

I just had a custom catback made for the wagon. Stock cat to an increaser to 3" pipe to a flange. After the flange about 6" of 3" pipe Y-ing to 2.5" pipe to the mufflers. Magnaflow stock # 14326 offstet/center. Then double tips. Tips were $70, mufflers $80/each and pipes and labor was $400. Stainless pipe and tig welding. Shop has a mandrel bender. They were sent center/center mufflers but with the bender it wasn't an issue. And here is the key. No resonator. With the wagon it is very loud in the car. 40 minute trip to the mall each way and the wife bitched the whole way. My 2 1/2 year old daughter had her ears plugged:lol: . This was at about 75 mph. At 60 it's a little better. Must get a resonator. Will post pics when I can but can't post sound unless I find someone with a digital cam.

Here's my custom exhaust!!! 2.5" all the way back. I had the shop put in a 22" Magnaflow resonator. Mufflers are Magnaflows, Oval/Slash Cut/Rolled Tip. It sounds really quite. I'll try to get a clip up of the exhaust.

Nice!!! Not sure if its the same muffler though; the mufflers on my car are the round canister style. How does your car sound? I've noticed that the exhaust carries a lot of bass.

btw, I have video's of my car is someone wants to host...

Mine are offset in-center out ovals. I had the resonator removed and it makes a very nice bass purr while cruising. The volumn went up when I had my shorty downpipe put in, both from the exhaust and from ahead of the firewall. I still like the sound from both inside and outside. A nice muscular rumbly sound until you get hard into the throttle, and even then it doesn't get raspy.

had the shop spray the piping flat black so no one can see the piping from behind the car. piping is 2.5" all the way back

And it looks flat sexy...

Was the price of doing all that cheaper than going with a normal

aftermarket premade exhaust?

it cost me $500.00 all together. that included a Magnaflow 22" resonator and both Magnaflow mufflers. I like that fact that all the Magnaflow products have a lifetime warranty.

I think the driver side muffler is a little off; angled outward...but it looks ok if you don't stare...
