so some old lady decided to stop at a GREEN light making the 2 cars in front of me slam on their brakes and i slammed on mine and still went into the back of the saturn the subaru is fucked

not to be an A-hole, but could they have been turning left and waiting for clear traffic. that doesnt look like a low speed accident considering that damage. how much room were you giving between you and the person in front of you? did any of the other cars collide other than yours into the back of the saturn?

Yeah, I was gonna say... That definitely sucks, but here in AZ you would be completely responsible for the damage on both the cars in front of you too. This same thing happened to my girlfriend here a couple months ago and she got the ticket for it. Drive slower and make sure you know your braking distance!

That much damage and the airbag deployed, was the Saturn moving when you hit it? If so you had to be going WAY faster than they were.

 

 

Regardless of the situation, I'm sorry about your car. Seems like you're okay, which is always the most important thing. Cars can always be replaced.

I hate old people as well, and I don't know the circumstances... but if you couldn't stop in time for a Saturn SUV in your GT, maybe you were following a bit too closely? It could have just as easily been a small child the old lady stopped for and then you'd have no excuse at all...

Ya. everyone gets old, but if you rear end someone YOU are at falt. It dosn't matter if the lady stopped at a green light or had a heart problem. No one follows driving rules for distance from car to car anymore. Sucks that that happend to you.

I tend to give lots of room to other drivers. You just never know

theres a nice 25 ft skid mark i left, speed limit was 55 so i was goin 60, 2 other cars had to slam on their brakes cuz of this lady, even the 2 guys in front of me told the cops it was the lady who caused us to stop, my car just went right under the saturn, im planning to get another subaru, tomorrow i can go to the body shop and pull off the rims, strut bar and intake

Seriously.. Old people should not have licenses! I tailgate really badly but lately I've been trying to back off a little bit because I don't want to get in an accident. That really sucks though! You just painted the car and everything!
