  1. Just a little over 165k now. Currently parked till I fix the rusted out filler neck. :/
  2. I got mine 7 years ago with 102k... Now I'm at 147k... I usually drive my other car a lot more.
  3. There's an elderly lady that lives in my town and she has a 99 outback limited that has the dual sun roofs and all, and it had 27k on it the last time I saw her. That was a few years ago but if I had to guess I would say the mileage probably hasn't gone up to much.
  4. It's a pretty easy choice for this sedan owner!
  5. Sedan man all the way. I gotta have a trunk with a spoiler. I dig the looks of that.
  6. 144,500 now! Using the GT to do all my commuting at the moment.
  7. I really want to drive an Impreza just to see what they are like. I'm shooting to buy an 05+ GT next summer. I want to put a nice down payment on one that way I don't have a big car payment. Really though the 05 has a good engine, it seems to me that most people that have problems with them are people that don't take care of them and do regular sythetic oil changes. My local Subie shop says that the 05 is good but there is some screen that gets clogged in the turbo and that's what destroys things. I have never owned one of these so don't quote me on that. I would love to have a '98 or '99 Outback Limited. They are my favorite Outback! I have driven them all and I just can't get over the 1st Outbacks.
  8. I've never been in an Impreza before so I can't comment on that. I've also never been in a 2005+ GT. I'm thinking I might go test drive one this weekend though!
  9. One thing I defintely liked about my Jetta was that the cup holders were in the console. It was nice to finally have cup holders that were more usable! On the Subie I just got the drivers front wheel bearing done and new front struts, it drives so much better! And my steering wheel doesn't shake over bumps anymore. I'm so satisfied with this car right now. It goes into the shop next Thursday to get ALL the fluids changed then I'm hoping I won't have to do anything but oil changes for the next 30k. JJ, I've always wanted to get a 2000 or 2001 Impreza RS 2 door 5 speed. I've seen them come up on Craigslist but I never have the means to buy it when it is on there.
  10. When I first got my GT I didn't know what it was lol my dad just said Merry Christmas this is your car! And I've had her for just a little over 4 years now. These 2nd gen GTs are the cars that I'm truly happy to own, even if there is a head gasket issue! I think the styling is great and I think the interior is functional (excluding the cup holder) and comfortable with overall pretty good fit and finish. Lots of soft touch materials everywhere, none of this hard plastic stuff.
  11. I feel like these cars still look good for their age. No one thinks my car is a 1998! So you rebuilt? New head gaskets and all? I've been for a while so I'm not up to date on everyone's projects!
  12. Wow, that is a lot of miles! My car went into the shop Thursday and I won't get it back till Monday night... Complete timing belt job, oil pump replacement, spark plugs, and some electrical bugs are getting fixed.
