zmarko
I think I'm gonna release a few more beta units before selling the real thing. I have pcb boards on order, they will be in by late next week. After the beta testers seem satisfied I will be putting in an order for a production quantity. It could be a few weeks to a month, unless your lucky enough to get in on the next round of beta gauges, I expect the additional beta gauges to be out in a week or so. I'd love to be in on the next beta group!

BAC5.2
My car sat at the airport, in direct sunlight, for 5 straight days. Temps were in the high 90's to 100's during the day, and in the 60's at night. Got in the car when we got back, and everything seemed perfectly fine! Irimis
NY would of been a good test this week, freaking 98+ all week. Can't wait to get my hands on these. Going for an inspection this weekend and just going to get the parts to run the vacuum line, thanks to the beta testers for the updates.
BAC5.2
I ended up running the vac line through the fender. It turned out to be the easiest entry point for my 09 (I have insulation over all of the firewall plugs). It took a few minutes, and it did require removal of the wheel, but I would rather do that than remove the intercooler. I sheathed the semi-rigid vac line (.170" ID, .250" OD polyurethane hose, per LOSSOL's recomendation) in a 1/4" ID fuel line that I slit down the middle for easy routing. From engine bay to rubber plug, the line is sheathed. I used a 5/16" ID Plastic T-fitting to tap into the boost line, and I zip-tied all connections. I'll post some pics when I get to a place that allows Photobucket. I did a pull in I-mode, then switched mid-pull to S#-mode. The graph shows the ECU's response time in jumping from the ~7psi of I-mode to the ~15.8psi of S# (on a stage-1 setup). LGTspecB1657615261
I just helped install one. Easy stuff. I am impressed with the attention to detail on the coding (I have developed electronic devices before). Nicely built too.
Balrock
I was SLOW getting to the party, but all is installed and working great. I had some difficulty getting the LC-1 software to change the parameters so the guage could read the volt signal properly, but it is not an issue caused by the guage. It is like Romraider does not work on my computer, so I data log with the wife's. The inovate software would not work on hers, but did on mine. Win7 irritates me. Anyway, the guage reads slightly different at idle than what Romraider records via the external pugin. I think Romraider was 14.4 at idle and the guage was HIGH 13 or 14 even. We did not get a perfect ground when doing the install. There was some resistence in the line, so that could cause for the variance. However, under WOT the guage seems like it is right on from what I have looked at data logs. All in all a very great addidition to the overall value of this baby. As for the other functions, at first I did not like how it would hold and display peak boost and was thinking about shutting it off. However, after giving it some time it's nice to glance over and see what you tapped in second and third gear. Under acceleration and gear shifting the peak does not hold, but goes right back to the boost function. As a default, the setting are right on. If I get some more time I may go into the menu and play with the custimization of the options. The gauge fits great and looks superb! I am really loving this baby. If you are on the fence and not sure I would so come on over to where the grass is greener. Boost, volts, optional AFR add on, sleek looks, great options make this a wonderful value, IMO! Go buy one!! Edited July 12, 2010 by balrock01
BAC5.2
Good idea on comparing it to another log source. I'll do that today! Balrock
Good idea on comparing it to another log source. I'll do that today! The boost seemed like it was spot on from what I have seen at peak on datalogs. Temp, humidity and all that taken into account. One day was 19.xx and this weekend when it was cooler I saw 21.
