Carraway
Thanks, Iwanna. That's true. I also like that the Legacy GT tends to be stealthier than the WRX. Sydtron - Probably, but I'd like the option to go without them, or at least shut them off. I also wonder how many people have gotten to the point that they could not drive an e-nanny-free car without crashing. For example, the thing that most surprised me about the Consumer Reports / Lexus SUV thing was how few seem to know that lifting the throttle in a turn naturally causes oversteer on many cars. You can also argue that the car can decide to shift gears more effectively than I can, or that I don't need to be ever heel-toe both pedals nor blip the throttle to rev match, but I still want to. Am I becoming a curmudgeon?
Sydtron
I agree that e-nannies are awesome, but at the same time you want to be able to do stupid things in them and the ability to turn them off. I'd rather them be opt-out than opt-in, if that makes sense. DSGs and the Nissan synchrorev are great and all, but again half the fun is doing the work yourself. DeltaSniper
E-Nannies are fine as long as you can turn them on and off as you wish.
lordchilly
Please add some rain guards or gutters or something. Cant even roll my window down until I come to a stop to get the rain off my roof. IcEWoLF
Heres a tip SOA... DONT DO ANYTHING!!! It sounds tempting. But how much will it cost to get it here from China and what would be the pricing? If I have to guess it would have to be at least 50-60k including shipping and taxes. Drew888
Just modified a picture of an Audi that IwannaSportSedan posted a while ago. I wish I had photoshop, but paint gets the job done. GREAT JOB!!! Absolutely perfect and not bad for just using Paint. I was about to regurgitate my earlier thoughts being that Subaru should take the 08-09 and enlarge it enough to be fairly compititive, add bluetooth and a better stereo/nav and upgrade the interior quality but leave the basic design untouched, then loose about 2-300# and add 50hp. That's it...Oh and figure out a way to allow 255's under the fenders with ease and we have the perfect Subaru. No more discussion necessary. I was on the main forum screen and just couldn't believe you guys were still BS'ing about this... really seems like a waste of energy. I mean, has SOA ever listened? Now adding pics is contributing real content, keep it up! Maybe if some great pics were leaked out it would bring some needed attention to this thread. Drew888
^^ Probably because any and all pics should be IMO, what SOA could have done that may not be too far off what they ended up doing. If we get too "fantasy" on them they will surely never give a crap. Oh, BTW...nothing wrong with a pic reminding you of any other make/model as the main point is to get as far away from the crap that is the 2010 (as long as it looks better that is). nemo
^ The 2010 is an uglified copy of the G35 Sedan, so what's the difference if someone "borrows" styling cues from another car? brilliant sleeper
Also the interior's with the 2010's bug me. Wtf is up the hard plastic? I only saw the 2.5i's interior's. How is it that 06's have better quality interior's? c' mon Subaru!
Sydtron
Funny, I've always though the previous gen Subaru interiors have rivaled only GM and Nissan in terms of ugly, unusable and full of junk material. At least Subaru tried laying out the '10 interior in a usable fashion (but still missed the mark elsewhere)
HarryN
^ The 2010 is an uglified copy of the G35 Sedan, so what's the difference if someone "borrows" styling cues from another car? I thought it was a Toyota Camry? When I see a Toyota Camry, I have to do a double take. Same with the 5th gen Legacy.

BennnGeee
If your looking for a sporty look you shouldn't be buying a legacy you should pick up an impreza. The legacy are starting to look like every car did a few years ago while every other car is starting to take their designs to a different level go subaru for being behind the times officially. SuperhawkLGT
Not everyone wants to be a boy racer, some of us like the maturity of the previous gen Legacy but don't need the size or the mediocrity of an altimacamrytaurusmaxima family sedan.
