looks good to me.

I will look into this. Did you do it yourself? I could probably go to a tint/vynil shop and have it done.. but I have no idea what they'd charge.

I did do it myself and its not 100% perfect but its good enough for me. It was real easy to do and I like that I can change it up and make the wings chrome again.

Painted mine with:

1 can Plastikote Plastic Primer (#469)

1 can Plastikote Metal Flake - Black (#320)

Took off the wings, sanded them as well as the chrome outline, and painted the entire grill assembly with the badge taken off, while painting the wings separately. Re-assembled it a day later, and the color is perfect, looks OEM. Here are my pics (with OBP RBS V2 eyelids and cleared corners)

where is that paint sold?

Plastikote Metal Flake isn't easy to find, but I did manage to find it locally. Carquest carries their product line. But, I live near a Carquest distribution center, so it was a little easier to get a hold of; if you live near a small Carquest you may need to special order it. Oh, and don't waste money on the Clear Coat, I never ended up using it.

yea where did you get it, looks great... if you put some bondo on the edge you wouldn't tell it was the oem one....

great job!

I wasn't sure about smoothing out the edge, I was worried I wouldn't get it even enough. Perhaps I'll pick up another stocker and try it out.
