how long have you had it like this? is it standing up to rocks?

 

rocks hittin your car while on the highway would pretty much ding any paint job.....well at least the good sized ones. just do a few coats of black and clear and it should stand up pretty well to the little pebbles and what not. oh and dont forget to sand first. at least thats what a few people told me to do.

ok, quick question: how on earth can I get the subie badge out of a stock grille!?!

 

I heated mine with a hair dryer and pried off with a screw driver. With the grill off, there is a hole in back where you can put another screwdriver and push down to help pop off the emblem as well.

 

Put it on this DIY grill I bought from Spec B:
