  1. Join date: 02-14-2006 I'm baaaaaaack! Left when I sold my LGT in the Summer of 2016. Had a 2008 impreza hatch (my wife's, sold in 2018). Bought a 2018 Outback. Still have that. Just got a 2014 Outback. Need some help with it...hence coming back!
  2. another satisfied JMP customer. I've since sold my car, unfortunately, but while I had it, his turbo ran great and made me quite happy. And he was great to work with - took the time just to chat with me on the phone about this and that and whatever and to make sure I had everything straight.
  3. I'll be joining the club next Monday!
  4. Not exactly sure. I can just tell that after 116k or so miles, this stock guy's starting to go. But I have a list of things that I want to do. I would actually love to pick your brain about where to go for a new turbo. I don't want anything crazy -- it's still my daily, after all -- but as long as I'm replacing the thing, I wouldn't mind bumping up in power a little bit... Where'd you move to? How's the fam?
  5. Hey Rick, been a while...I think I see a turbo swap on the horizon. You still around?

  8. red 05 gt sedan with at least a jdm grille on...i think Linnaean St. in Cambridge a couple days back. I wasn't in mine, though, so you wouldn't have recognized me (I didn't wave).
  9. Join Date: 02-14-2006 -- the night before I took delivery, more than 9 years ago. Crazy it's been so long. Lots of memories now...
  10. No worries, didn't take offense. I actually deliberately kept it stock-looking, for the most part. Only visual cues are the mudflaps, mesh grille up front, and exhaust. Oh and wheels in the summer. But you wouldn't really have been able to spot any of that from alongside 2 lanes over where you were.
  11. Haha, not my first rodeo, man. I seldom wave at the NA's, and I'm not on stock wheels in the summertime. Just the way it goes. My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts for waving at all
  12. me! ABP, and not especially stock. Nice to see a fellow LGTer around. I do wave, but I rarely get anything back except from the impreza crowd.

  14. Somebody behind me in an 05-07 lgt in JP just a couple of minutes ago. I think abp, hid's, front plate mounted off to the side a bit.
  15. Debadged ABP LGT on 93N today about 11:30. Got the thumbs-up! Who was it?
  16. spotted a red gt sedan (06? Didn't get a good look at headlight color or at wheels not moving) near south station in boston this evening a little before 8 with an SPT sticker, and I think an SPT exhaust. Got a wave. Anyone?
  17. #450 is apparently dead... http://www.ebay.com/motors/garage/profile/3740068/2006-Subaru-Legacy
  18. You could try Tasker...it's REALLY configurable.
  19. black modded gt wagon on 28 in medford around 6:30-7ish? You were getting a speeding ticket and didn't look too happy about it.
  20. I don't think that's an 05...(wheels, headlights, foglight bezels...)
  21. Haha, honestly, I gave up on keeping that list up to date way back in 2008. It just wasn't worth the time and effort. Still, happy to see so many massholes in here!
  22. silver wagon with a FMIC on Route 9 right by the Brookline/Boston line - I was heading E, you W. Not sure if you could see me wave, but I did.
  23. A couple days ago I was at metrowest subaru in natick, ma to get a wheel bearing replaced (yay for warranty on those to 100k!), and I saw a silver 05-07 gt wagon with a front mount and a groovy hood from an outback. It had to be somebody's...capestylz, maybe?
  24. I think I'm gonna stick with Autozone. At least that way if something goes wrong, I can go somewhere and yell at somebody (and make sure they follow through on the limited lifetime warranty they advertise).
