Rumour's are floating around that the VQ37HR in the 370Z will see a power bump to around 350HP. Although, IMO I don't see that happening at the introduction.

Although, 350HP engine in the Z and G37C would be a good idea for Nissan.

As I said on autoblog... Wow, this thing is ugly.

Front, side, back, inside... ALL of it.

Fangs on the front, stupid L-shaped lights, and ugly forward peaked windshield and ugly side windows...

The interior looks too rounded and playskool. The center console is directly out of Infiniti, and looks gadget-y, but the door panels, dash, and console all looks rounded. I think they bought this interior from Pontiac, and their old grand ams and grand prix-es. (sp?)

Color me unimpressed. Infiniti G37c looks so much better.

Some official pics.

The wacky L-shaped headlights actually looks pretty good on the Z. The exterior proportion looks very trim and athletic IMO, very much like the old 240Z. Those rear quarter windows are going to be less than useless but I like the lines there. The interior looks much more upscale than the 350Z, although I'm not feeling the jellybean steering wheel.

lots of G37 in the sides and sweeping lines... and the rear end is very Chrysler Crossfire... or Porsche.

Hopefully it is priced the same as the 350Z and becomes a real performance bargain.

Think Porsche Boxter or Cayman for $20K less...

There are certainly a lot of the similarities between the two. The lines of the quarter window is just about the same as the 240z.

Paint it green, and that car would look like a frog that bumps it's ass when it hops.

the roofline sloping down from the a-pillar, and the window sill sloping rearward too, makes it look like it sags to the rear.

The fenders have thick wheel flats, all the rage from the eastern imports lately, evidently.

The front intake is bizarre, and the L-shaped lights are a gimmick, not a better design.

Sorry, but I am gonna pass on that one. At least the G37 doesn't look bad.

I hope the Subaru/Toyota coupe won't look as ham-fistedly designed, as the 370Z.
