Apparently the 370Z's target is the Cayman. ~345 hp (350 ps), ~280 ft-lbs and ~3100 lbs. It's interesting that the 370Z could be had with a 7-spd AT. I guess Nissan will start putting this 7-spd AT in all their cars soon. (FC-RX7 is a nicer 80's wedge, FD-RX7 is on the podium of greatest sports car designs ever...) and I like the 90's arch-roof 300ZXs quite a bit. The numerical designation has always corresponded to the displacement of the 6 cylinder in the Z. So if Nissan decided to put a 10.0L V6 in the Z one day there will be a 1000Z... Everything nicely unique about the original has been modernized badly in the new rendering, and ruined. the angles are too sharp, the surfaces are too broad, and just clumsier execution.
