As long as you have a washer of similar size and material, what does it really matter? Are you telling me Subaru does something extra special to "their" washers?

Funny enough dealerships up here in canada say they cant get stock either on the washer as US stocks have been depleted. LoL will take a week. Whats funny is price is double in canada 30cents not that it matters just typical of canadians getting jacked....

went to the dealership just now (Burlington Hyundai Subaru) and they told me the part is $0.53 and its out of stock in the US may take MONTHS to get it in my hands. how can this be right?

KAI, where did you find it online?

Thanks to Gteaser I have my washer for the bushing. But I have no way to install it. Car is to low for me to go under there and get to it and I don't have a jack or ramps or anything at the moment. I tried pulling it up on a curb and crawling under but that was a failure too so I guess it will have to wait.

For someone that is slightly nooby when it comes to manual transmissions in general, can someone give me a quick explaination of what this mod would do? Please tell me it would improve shifter feel and help alleviate some of the 'notchiness' of shifting. I'd do it in a second if it helped with this. Thanks in advance.

It gets rid of some of the sloppiness. Everyone seems to use the word "notchy" incorrectly. You want it to be notchy (where each gear notch is located), and precise, and not vague, with a positive feeling of engagement and selection.

STi 6MT is the notchiest transmission I've ever driven. Just throwing that out there...

Buddy had a 1990 miata (i think that was the year...). Totally stock and the transmission was awesome. Just had a great snick-snick feel to it and you could operate it entirely with your wrist.

"Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>>

Not currently in stock :(

I already did, at your request I might add.

I don't have calipers here at work, but I did have a metric scale, so I can get to the nearest 0.5mm.

Material: Steel with black coating

Center Dia: 8.5mm

Overall Dia: 29mm

Thickness: 2mm
