  1. BNR 18g that JMP gave the full works on. Hoping to be able to break that 350whp mark with all of the supporting mods. I've seen a few others (i.e. user jasejase) that got in the ballpark with a non custom BNR 18g with less supporting mods so I'm optimistic, but I also know dyno's are different so we'll see.
  2. Some update pic's I got from the shop on the wagon over the past month and change. Hoping the car will get done by the end of the month. I've been too busy with work and getting ready for a kid to get over there and take pic's myself so excuse the lack of more detailed shots.
  3. Just an FYI, the tips won't go past the bumper with the Q300 either. However, you can get some slip on tips for relatively cheap to fix it. That's what I did with mine and they've worked great. Post #10 shows how I've got them. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/doctors-05-white-wagon-281690.html The rear gate seal being discontinued is stupid too knowing how many 05-09 outbacks are out there. Every time I go to the junkyard I check for any decent ones. I've found 2 in total, one to replace the original and a spare for future.
  4. Perfect fitment, just drop them in. Wiring isn't PnP but there's a forum member that makes a conversion harness. No additional JDM parts needed like with the rev D-f's. Here's where you can buy the harness. Not sure if this is the same guy I'm thinking of. https://www.legacyoddsnends.com/
  5. Great looking wagon & sad to see your selling it Shogun. Hopefully someone in Indiana buys it as there are already 2 of 1/40ish SWP manual wagons here. Didn't know you had a set of Raijins either, now I'll have a good idea of what mine will look like once the facelift is done. GLWS!
  6. Ah gotcha, if I get the itch for one of these I'd probably reach out to you then.
  7. Mind just sharing where you ordered them from? P.S. the 1099-K reporting change doesn't go into effect until 2022 so you won't be getting a 1099-K for Paypal sales through G&S for 2021 unless you did more than $20k in sales or made at least 200 sale transactions. Plus, unless you got all the parts you sold for free that 1099K wouldn't be considered taxable income because you'd offset it with the cost you paid for the parts which most of the time results in a loss and no taxable income. Just sharing as an FYI. Source - Me, a tax accountant who's read the American Rescue Plan Act. GLWS
  8. Yep, little 2L 4 banger. Agreed it would be reealll nice with the 6. Still a pretty stout motor and I'm not hating the ~35mpg hwy.
  9. Have you looked into the '12-'19 BMW F31s? I'm a smidge biased as I just picked one up recently, but damn do I really like this car as a DD. No manual option but still AWD, fun to drive/handles well and the ZF8 is superb. Of course it's longer than the GR hatch but it's the last of the BMW wagons stateside so they should hold value decently well, at least the M Sport models. Performance wise I've added an intake, hard inlet, aluminum charge pipe and a "Stg1" tune on it and it's plenty quick. I'd say somewhere between a Stg1/Stg2 legacy but closer to Stg2. Eager to get a downpipe and up the tune for that. I was specifically looking for an LCI model that has the B series engines that Toyota also uses. Aftermarket support should grow in the next few years or I figured if the engine ever goes I'd drop in the 6 cyl engine from the 340i's/Supra's.
  10. Absolute pleasure to have but I've got a wagon with the big guy and always have it open on nice days, absolutely zero issues with it in the 3 years I've owned it. Bought the car with 144k and it's roughly at 178k now. Never driven a sedan with sunroof but would imagine they are a bit more noisy than the wagons due to the difference in design. I'm a pro-sunroof guy in general.
  11. Have a brand new Perrin turbo inlet for sale. Opened the box to confirm all parts were included but nothing was removed from original packaging. Selling because I went with the Killer B hard inlet. Price includes PayPal fee but not shipping. Will ship in the original Perrin box. Price: $old
  12. More progress. It seems like it's finally getting consistent attention. Still surprised how decent of shape the underside is in for car with 178k miles and 145k of them being in MA & ME.
  13. No worries and thanks. I've seen others have issues with it and that was a peace of mind/while we're in there decision. Gas tank and rear brake lines were as well actually. Neither had issues but there are a lot of "while were in there" replacement parts to ensure they don't become issues in the near future. Short of a full underbody resto I wanted this to essentially be a ground up rebuild. Subframes were sandblasted and powder coated, every suspension and drivetrain bushings/mounts/bearings are all getting replaced or upgraded if there was a quality aftermarket option.
  14. Even if it was there is a brand new one for them to install. It looks like the original is still on in the pic though. I gave them permission to inspect and/or replace any misc/OEM parts they come across while doing all this that need it so they should be checking all of that.
  15. They've been dragging ass on the work for way to long. I came to a breaking point after a combination of the finding out the shop manager leaving for another job (he's the only reason I've kept going there, dude defines customer service and righting wrongs) and the shop owner asking a really dumb question about the car and I went off on him. Typical Karen type crap, "I've been coming here for years, have spent $$$$$, blah blah". Ended by saying I'm not bringing any more business until this car is done. They've had the car since December 2nd, every part for the build since March (95% of the parts were in hand when I dropped the car off). The only parts they were waiting on that didn't arrive until March was some SuperPro rear suspension bushings. They haven't touched the car since April/May and it's just been sitting on a lift, with the windows down collecting all the shop dust for months. And it's a long list of work to go. When I originally dropped it off in December they said it would be done by April 15th at the absolute latest. That's basic the gist of it.
  16. I can meet pretty much anywhere in IN, IL, MI, OH, KY. If we do allow saloons we should definitely separate them so they can be easily ostracized for their basic taste and lack of utility. I'm also all for opening it up to all makes, not just Subies, as I'd like to bring these 2 along for the trip.
  17. I didn't do it but there's been progress on the wagon. Who knew going into full "Karen" mode would yield results. Rear brake lines replaced and new gas tank installed.
  18. I know they're out there and I've debated about it but with having 5 cars I'm trying to avoid specialty shops for each one or a combo of. Turn-In Concepts is a little bit closer being in Cincy as well. Going to check out this shop in Indy as they've built quite a few Subies around the area with some great workmanship. https://www.premiereautosportsllc.com/ I'm not going to just drop the current shop as they've been super good to me but need to start planting seeds elsewhere.
  19. I wanna go to wagonfest as well. Especially now that I've picked up my third wagon. I'd just need 2 other people to help me get all 3 of them there. Or what if all of us Midwestern guys got together for our own? Yea, it's the dealer pic and I've made changes to it already. This is the new daily and the Legacy is now going to be a weekend warrior along with the S2K. Speaking of the Legacy, I looked at it longingly today on the shop rack where it's been sitting for 5 months with zero progress to it. Had a long chat with the shop owner this morning about it and gave him some ultimatums. Shop manager is leaving for another job cuz he's sick of the owner's shit and he's the only reason I've kept going there. Now I get to enjoy the process of finding a new reliable shop and starting a relationship. I just want my wagon back
