  1. 7440/7443 bulbs for the JDM turn signals, USDM is a 3157 bulb. In the past and not related to the JDM headlights, I've purchased LED signal bulbs that just didn't seat well for whatever reason and used electrical tape to keep it secure. Not ideal if visible through a clear lens as the tape can be seen.
  2. Treat yo self! I say silver for the cohesiveness, but I'm also a fan of gold on white. It's the not the job I'm eager about, it's the hands on learning and experience along with improving the car. I'll only be adding power and modifying more in the future so I need/want to learn to do what I can to keep it running right and maintenance costs down. Block is in the car and has never been removed since I've owned it. I'll also be pulling the intake manifold at the same time to replace the intake gaskets. Gonna be a long, slow weekend full of firsts when the time comes.
  3. Black WRX sun visors and JDM STI mufflers (quad tips) came in the mail yesterday. Dropped them off at the shop this morning and got a good look at the finished black head liner, super sexy. Unfortunately was in a rush and didn't take any pictures. Itching to get it back as I have a new turbo inlet, silicon bpv and a bunch of silicon vacuum lines I've been eager to install myself.
  4. Nice, can I get a full frontal? I've been toying with the idea of picking up that lip to add a little more something to the front end.
  5. I upgraded the front sway bar bushings with 25mm ones from Rallitek. The new bushings are significantly wider then the previous ones and stick out a decent amount past the mounting bracket. Are there any vendors that make a wider bracket?
  6. God damn, a little to "busy" for my personal tastes but I can certainly appreciate the effort put into it. I have so many questions about this beast. For starters, where did you get that grill emblem? Is this a RHD conversion? Modified outback fenders?
  7. Well shit, I wanna join in. Little dirt in the skirt never hurt.
  8. Will do and would be sweet if Madrig could do that. Can never complain about having multiple choices/styles.
  9. Gabo - Not trying to deter you from madrig's amazing work, but I was going to sell the JDM aluminum exhaust finishers I got from HKC once I got some free time. It appears the ones I got were the sedan version (slightly different mounting points from the ones above, believe those are actually the wagon version) and they weren't even close to filling out the exhaust cut-out on the wagon bumper. Let me know if you're interested. Madrig - I'm getting my exhaust tips lengthened at some point but I'm still in for a set of these!
  10. How far up do the Redline struts hold the hood? Same as the normal prop area, more like the secondary prop spot for the added clearance or somewhere in between?
  11. Could I pay you to just follow me around my house while I point to things and ask "carbon fiber?"
  12. Nice! Is this the same size as the cobb cover or is it slightly trimmed in the area where the hood prop is? I'd love to get one of these but I had to bend the hell out of my box cover to get it to fit under there without rubbing.
  13. Think these may be the first glimpses of madrig's hood scoop fully finished/painted and mounted. Full disclosure, these were taken by my bribed shop guy who is sending me progress pic's as my re-paint work nears completion. Car should be done and in my possession Friday if everything goes smoothly and I can update with more pic's this weekend.
  14. Nice, looks like quite the stockpile of parts. You should list them out in the first post. Also not sure if you knew this but there is a USDM/left hand drive version of the STI gauge pack where they're angled to the left and the STI symbol is in the bottom right corner. Impressive none-the-less. Reminds me that I should start a build thread. I've compiled all pictures I have so far into a folder but nothing else.
  15. Damn, that fitment looks fantastic. I've got one of the pre-updated ones so I should probably get in touch with madrig and try to work something out for the v2.
  16. I finally managed to test fit the non-carbon hood scoop. Unfortunately I won't be able to get this painted and installed until next spring but wanted to post some initial pics for Madrig and any others interested. I don't have much more to add then what Infosecdad has already posted as well. Overall, quality is great but the back of hood scoop could grab the hood a bit better and currently leaves a slight gap that could make it prone to vibrating when driving at higher speeds. If I were to push down on the scoop to how it should be gripping with the hood, it appears way more fit/flush/OEM then in the pictures. I'll have the body shop see what they can do to keep the back of the scoop hunkered down once it's painted.
  17. That looks good. You definitely get a sense of how much more aggressive the lip is when it's actually on the car. I received a non-carbon one from Madrig, I'll try to slap it on tonight and post some pictures as well.
  18. Count me in for the slightly larger hood scoop. I've been putting off painting/installing the extended wagon spoiler I purchased from you while debating on what type of larger scoop to get. This just made things a lot easier.
