  1. @ChicagoSam Are you looking for them specifically on DGM cars? I've got them on my wagon but it's white.
  2. @xt2005bonbon The lag is not bad at all but I can't really quantify just how quick it spools yet. Haven't done any driving/logging to capture that specific data and we're currently ironing out the tip in as it has a slight lean spike. I looked at one of the more recent logs and when doing 3rd gear WOT pulls starting at 3k and in vacuum it will hit full boost by 3.6k-3.7k rpm. The BMW turbo is a punchy little twin scroll and even when driving the cars back to back I've never thought "man, the Subaru has way more lag". I'll report back once the tuning is done for the Subaru. We've been focusing on the BMW more just because it's essentially a Stg2 pro-tune and also one of the kid haulers so it's taking priority. JMP had said that it should spool just slightly slower than a stock VF40. Also, keep in mind I've got KillerB holy headers, up pipe & hard inlet feeding the turbo and the car is noticeably more torque-y outside of boost. Regarding the Raijin's, if you're patient enough I may be changing them up in the next year or two for something lighter and forged. I LOVE the design but also having Raijin's on the Acura....I've really come to hate cleaning those mf's. I've been eyeing a set of APEX VS-5RS's but think I'll reserve those for the BMW since they're essentially rep's of the 763M wheels that came on the previous gen M2 CS.
  3. @Enlight I probably missed it but what's the process for you to ship items from the auctions? I forgot you were doing that and it makes that S402 lip even more tempting. Also, would you be able to ship coilovers since buyee has a restriction on the fluid? Been trying to track down a pair of Ohlins to replace my Koni/Swift setup but that shipping restriction has been my biggest hurdle.
  4. Dang, there's a lot of good activity going on in here lately. Love to see it! It's really a love/hate relationship with the auctions. I picked up a mint S402 shift knob from there about a week ago. Still amazes me that even with $24 shipping it got delivered within 3 days. Probably won't even put this on the car unless I take it to a show. There's also an S402 CF front lip listed currently and I'm really struggling not bidding to have a spare one for a rainy day. Still in the tuning process and taking logs every other day with the wagon and it's starting to get really fun. JMP's 18g pulls like an absolute freight train compared to the VF40. Installed a dp on the BMW recently so I'm also in the tuning process for it as well. It's interesting doing logs back-to-back between the two. BMW reminds me of the Subaru with the VF40 as the oem turbo runs out of gas toward redline, but it spools super quick. The ZF8 transmission is wicked for what it is (also tuned). Other than that I gave the Legacy a really deep clean & quick wax then decided to line up 3 of the 4 ladies. S2000 is still in storage and even though the Jeep is in one pic I don't consider it a lady, more of a moose. I do wish I paid better attention & remembered more from my HS photography class cuz I frickin suck at taking good photos.
  5. @WRX USA I did give white some consideration but decided that I do want a pop of some contrasting color. A little surprising regarding how clean they stay. I wouldn't have guessed but that kinda makes sense now that I think about how white cars hide dirt better than other colors. @Code Let me throw out a color to potentially try and match. Subaru's blue steel mica. A buddy of mine mentioned it and while I'd still like some color, its interesting enough that I'm going to request a sample to see what they can come up with.
  6. Loaded another map revision and did some logging this weekend. It's really starting to feel good. After doing the WOT logs reality set in that I can't baby the brakes anymore and really need to start/finish up the brake upgrade project. The current pads/rotors were very close to needing replaced back when I dropped the car off back in late 2019 before all the upgrades were done. So I decided to dig out what I have, take inventory, and figure out what I need. Which is rotors/pads along with the STI brake master cylinder & booster but that's about it, I've got everything else in hand. The calipers (S402 fronts for those curious) are going to be sent off for powder coating and re-seal in the next coming weeks and the tbSTI rear backing plates are going to get thoroughly cleaned up as well. I haven't decided on caliper color just yet but I'm leaning towards a classic deep red or something similar to Subaru's rally blue pearl which is a little darker than world rally blue. I'm open to input if anyone has some suggestions. Just no silver, black or highlighter yellow/green.
  7. Long overdue but finally shaking off the cobwebs from winter storage and getting back into the tuning process from where we left off. Took it out for an extended cruise to burn up as much old gas as I could. Still very early but I can already tell this thing is going to be a shit ton of fun when done. Have to say that after getting the front Koni's dialed in, the ride is surprisingly comfortable for a full poly bushings. Need to rig up a new adjuster for the rears and get those done, bit to firm at the moment.
  8. The Fanatec hardware is great, I'm fighting the urge to not grab their CSL elite v2 pedals with the load cell brake. That rig of yours though is giving me some serious envy. Go for the VR if you don't have already. It's worth the price just for GT7 but hoping they still add some more games in the near future.
  9. @m sprank What game are you doing your SIM racing on (assuming GT7 from the PS5)? It's wild with the PSVR2 and 3D audio. Your rig looks nice! Way better than my pos Playseat one but convenience and space management were higher priority at the time.
  10. @cheeseenlo Correct, plug n play direct swap. Hardest part will be getting the mirror caps off without breaking any tabs.
  11. Set of blue grampus winkers for sale in excellent condition. No scratches, broken tabs, or cracks. Price includes shipping (lower 48) and Paypal fee. Located in Indianapolis, IN. Asking: $OLD
  12. STI flexible strut bar, STI flexible lower arm bar & partial support kit braces for sale. Bushings in great shape, some cosmetic blemishes. Support kit is missing one piece and original hardware. Link below for more details. Paypal fee included in price. Strut bar breaks down into 4 pieces for cheaper shipping. https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/legacytouringwagon_bp/chassis/ $old
  13. $1k for just the parts or all in incl shipping? If total, that's not bad. Sourced it from the Japan auctions/buyee. Bumper was cheap, less than $200, but shipping was the real bitch ($1.8k), so all in ~$2k. Shipping probably could have been a good bit cheaper if sea mail was an option but once you get into the oversize category on the auctions your forced to use DHL and they deliver in 3 days so not much you can do. These bumpers can still be bought new from Japanparts.com (link below), but even the sea-mail option is comparable to the DHL/buyee so I'd rather pay essentially the same price for way less wait time and a lower risk of potential damage. https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=32010#calc_result
  14. Glad it made it safely. Was a little worried with the tight fit packaging.
  15. Counting down the days until tax season is over and I have enough free time to finish getting the car tuned. In the meantime this arrived today. Baby is getting a butt lift.
  16. Very nice, love everything about it! I keep debating about rolling the S402s but I'll give that more thought once your rear quarters go on and see how much extra space I have to work with front and rear. Thinking about up-sizing wheel to 9" with 255 tires, maybe even wider. I'll definitely hit you up for more carbon art pieces in the future. P.S. I got a rare CF piece just for you coming from Japan. I'll reach out once its delivered.
  17. Let's meet up some weekend and do our own SWP & RBP wagon shoot. We'll just omit the detail that mine is technically no longer SWP.
  18. I can't say with absolute certainty but I believe the chrome strip was standard on facelift wagons in any market.
  19. Please, no rush at all on mine. Those fenders are a work of art just like everything else. I'm definitely jealous they're wider than the S402's.
  20. @Phosoup253 what @Febreze Mee said. However, you've got it backwards regarding the JDM waist spoiler. It works with the USDM tailgate and pre-facelift tailgate in general. If you changed it to the JDM facelift version that has the chrome strip running between the reverse lights than it wouldn't work as those lights are slightly higher to put it in horizontal alignment with bottom cleared strip on the taillights. I'll see if I can find a pic to illustrate. Edit and credit to @Infosecdad - his wagon with the JDM facelift garnish.
  21. Seriously.....WOW! I thought I'd never lust after a set of fenders after getting the S402s, but then you go and do that. What's the extension specs?
  22. I believe that only applies to the rigid lower bar not the flexible lower one. I remember someone posting about it years ago that the flexible bars should be used together and not combined with any of the rigid lower or strut bars. That part # number listed pulls up the rigid lower bar on Blackhawk Japan. https://www.blackhawkjapan.com/products/sti-st2051021010-1
  23. All the more reason to ship one to @madrig so he can make a mold and then produce custom versions. If mine ever breaks I'll be crying like a baby.
  24. I'd reach out to @madrig and see if he does repairs. Probably be pretty hard to find someone else that even has a S402 CF lip let alone a broken one. I only know of 3 people that have one and you & I make up 2/3s of that total. @Zero1 also has an awesome S402 clone but I'm not sure if he has a the CF lip. If he does it's not listed on his build thread.
  25. Love to see a LT follow-up. Any plans to repair/attempt to repair the CF lip?
