  1. Yup. And you can see the whole on the front side of the Cobb box where the snorkel feeds into.
  2. I'll try to snap a couple later, easier than digging through my phone I think. But there's really nothing to see, pretty sure it's designed that way. I think I trimmed half an inch or so from my snorkel just to make installation possible without removing the boxes "lid", but it would fit fine without that I think. All stock mounting bits are used, box is bolted in according to instructions.
  3. Just as a quick note, I run my cobb intake (w/ box) with the stock intake snorkel. Not sure if most folks do that, but I would imagine so. Works great.
  4. I'm still gonna be shocked if they actually show up. We should get a count of how many were actually ordered. Assuming they're losing $100 or so a pop I can't see how they wouldn't just send nasty emails telling everything to eff off, lol. *fingers crossed*
  5. If I end up receiving what I ordered I can probably throw you a set for testing.
  6. suddenly the market will be flooded with cheap aluminum LCAs They were $4/each yesterday. HOW DO YOU SAY NO TO THAT?!?
  7. I picked up a few also Estimated ship date received...still waiting for the cancellation!
  8. Pretty funny. Anywho, I'm interested in results. I took a gamble, basically just expecting an email at this point to cancel the order.
  9. How would an entire control arm and ball joint cost only $3.20? That wouldn't even come close to covering the raw materials to make the parts.
  10. I haven't been here for 10 years, but just checked my join date and can't believe it's been more than 6 as of this August. I lurked, then bought a new '09 5mt LGT in 2010, then sold it in 2011. Then bought a 5eat wagon in, uhhh, 2012? Then sold it, bought a 5mt OBXT at around the same time and the rest is history I guess. I've wondered how I have ended up so immersed in this community but I guess it sums up to 12k posts or so, 6 years, and 3 subies later, 2 of 'em modded. Whoops.
  11. I'm in same boat as you, jase. But our roof is about as simple as it gets. Single line across the house, just two big surfaces (front / back) to shingle. Speaking of, I need to price that out to make sure we are squirreling enough away for a few years from now...
  12. To everyone: I'll make some more. Should be able to get material over to the shop this week and will update with a timeline when I can.
  13. I'll look around, but at the moment I believe I'm sold out. I have more material and will likely make additional kits in the coming weeks.
  14. Well. Stock is quite low. Debating making more of these things. Happy to do it if the interest is still out there, so let me know!
  15. If you caulk every single hole that a wire goes through, that would make any future removal such a royal pain in the ass. Sounds crazy, and unsafe in the long run since it would prevent reasonable removal of old wiring?
  16. That math-mumbo-jumbo is because the signal doesn't get spit out in AFR format, so you have to convert it to such.
  17. Thanks for the order. Your kit will go out tomorrow, suspect you'll have it by Thursday!
  18. Does mileage matter on these FPRs? Can I just snag a used one?
