I changed out the whole PCV assembly quite recently, last May I believe. -
Camshaft Sensor Leak?
BarManBean replied to BarManBean's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
So the crankcase isn't pressurized under normal operated conditions, but it IS pressurized under a boost leak test where I don't plug/pinch any inlet hoses? I should maybe start my own thread on this... -
Camshaft Sensor Leak?
BarManBean replied to BarManBean's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
That much makes sense since I'm not plugging any hoses at the moment, so I'm certainly pressurizing the case a bit. Only bringing it to 4 or 5psi though. Unsure if this would act as a small vacuum / boost leak under normal conditions...? -

Yup, must be the camshaft sensor based on those diagrams. Now WhyTF is that seeming to leak?!? -
Camshaft Sensor Leak?
BarManBean replied to BarManBean's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
Top of engine. Basically below the wastegate actuator and upper coolant reservoir. I can see it when I look down in between those two. Dunno, I'll look into that. I'm asking because I'm smoke / boost leak testing the car and I'm getting NOTHING from the smoke test, but when I pressurize the system I'm getting some bubbling at that sensor, almost like it has a bad gasket there or something similar I'm doing this in response to some elevated learned trim A numbers since flashing my last tune and also removing / reinstalling my intercooler. -
Looking for a bit of help here. There seems to be a sensor of some sort that sits on the passenger head, just in from the valve cover gasket and towards the rear of the car. The plug that connects to the sensor connects from the passenger side of the car. What the heck sensor is this?

I thought outfront motors ports has developed a shitty rep in recent times. Is that not true? EDIT: not true--I believe I was thinking of the Outback/Infront shop in WA. -

Anyone possibly interested in a set of Enkei Raijins, 18x8 +48, in gunmetal? Possibly thinking about changing things up... -

What size are those pistons? Can decide if they look larger because they are larger, or larger because they are shiny -

Aluminum is nice, but doesn't help much with alignments. If you need the adjustment it's either MR and Whiteline stuff. -

Website is back up and running, hoping to fill orders beginning March 6th. If that timeline changes I'll do my best to keep folks updated. -
None direct from me. I will say this tho--running the same tune that I had for my Process West, I see no knock or funny business during 3rd/4th gear pulls with a 6mt, so it appears to be flowing at least as well as a process west. I haven't had time to provide further logs to my tuner, but will update with more info once that happens.

Material is at the shop. ETA is end of this week or next week. I'll be busying the weekend following, either way. I may put things back up "for sale" on the website in the next couple days to take "preorders" so I can get shipping and what not ready to roll. Thanks for everyone's patience. -

Didn't mean for you to find the actual post yourself, was just curious if it was in here I have 2 kids, sounds like you'll soon understand my need to ask rather than just go digging around for something that *might* not be there Thanks for all that you do! -

Did I miss the addition of the fuel filter earlier in your thread?
