  1. Don't get me wrong, I threw front brembos on the outback and love 'em, but I'm the first to admit that they are pretty much a pedal-feel and cosmetic mod for my purposes.
  2. I understand that. But realistically when are you going to experience real life brake fade on the streets? You shouldn't be driving that way on the streets, only on the track. BBKs really are a cosmetic mod unless you are tracking the car, yes? (dragging not included)
  3. A BBK can't possibly make you faster on a drag strip, can it? More rotational mass, and you don't exactly need the fade resistance, so why bother?
  4. Did a boost leak test recently. Did not plug lines to the crank cause. *DID* build up enough pressure that my dip stick popped out and a bubbled out about 1 qt of oil all over that side of the car and onto the floor
  5. I pretty much have to replace my front O2 sensor every time I touch it
  6. Been wondering this myself. But I doubt GS will do anything specific for the outback platform, just gonna need to figure out a solution on our own. I was thinking that some sort of stick on foam or similar could work. Attach to TMIC so that the splitter makes contact.
  7. Bo Auto Upholstery and Furniture on Terminal Rd in Lorton has been recommended to me. No direct experience tho.
  8. They do, but there's a bit of give. To get things as tight as I like I deform the locking mechanism like that to remove any "play" from the locking mech.
  9. Sorry to hear. If you haven't watched the video in the first post here, make sure to click on that as well!
  10. I'm still tuning for the process west, but there's a pretty good chance I'm still going to pick this up (Sorry Dave!!!)
  11. The welding alone clearly isn't grimmspeed quality. Makes perfect sense to me--why spend a ton of time mocking up something for a test fit / photo op / other use aside from a final consumer product.
  12. So, forgive my ignorance here. What's the theory behind the "reverse" hood scoop?
  13. Undertray still available. Someone come and get it! http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/fs-va-gt-spec-undertray-230838.html
  14. Check your local autozone, I want to say that they might "rent" them out for free.
  15. So you had air coming out of the filler cap? Isn't that normal? If the car is running and you remove the filler cap you'll get constant puffing of air there.
  16. ^^and will negotiate for someone who can simply come and pick it up!
  17. GT Spec undertray: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/fs-va-gt-spec-undertray-230838.html
