Penguin
I need to start thinking about tires for the Tundra. Nothing to brighten your day like dumping $1k or more on rubber.

Geez I thought you were joking when I read $1k on tires.... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=Scorpion+ATR&partnum=765HR8SCORATROWL&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Toyota&autoYear=2011&autoModel=Tundra%20Double%20Cab&autoModClar=4x4&tab=Warranty
coppertone
Yes I know the feeling as it was $1500.00 for the tires on my Ram. Two things I don't cheap out on are tires and brakes. 2010 2.5GT limited is for sale.

Plus they barely qualify as a truck tire in my book since they tread blocks are 100% guaranteed to pack full of mud or snow and not self clean for shit. I'm going more aggressive this time than the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor that I have now, and I'm going to a 33" tire instead of the 32" that I have now. Thinking of these: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic.jsp?sidewall=Blackwall&tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Wrangler+DuraTrac&partnum=77QR8WDT&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes Or these: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/product/tires/t_20111207.copvl8.xl.jpg

bomberlegacy
Change oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket & spark plug o-rings, and distributor seal. Adjusted valve lash while I had the valve cover off, then changed oil and filter. 94 civic DD with 276k '08 Legacy 2.5i - hybrid intake - delta 1000 - E85 - magnaflow exhaust

PeterJMC
So I have a failing wheel bearing either in the right front or rear Turns out it wasn't the tires getting worn down. $230ish a piece for one hub assembly. Just installed an aftermarket steering wheel. Took all of 35 minutes not including painting the steering wheel. Same as pictured below but I plasti dipped the blue/black area with black. That blue/black is UGLY. Looks 100x better than the pic http://www.fledermaus.jp/steering_table/images/ty-p2-prius30.jpg

famaya26
Today I turned on my 91 Accord. It needs new tires and state Inspection so I can begin driving it again. fixed the CEL it had a couple weeks ago. It's just sitting in the driveway waiting to be driven. 28 MPG is the reason I'm making her my dd again.

PeterJMC
Just installed these bad boys. The license plate area is nice and bright and match the color of my front LED headlights I did go through a number of LED bulb styles to find something I wanted to settle on. http://www.ijdmtoy.com/ebay/SKUS14/Lexus-LED-License-Plate-Lamp-04.jpg I might go back to this 200 Lumens CREE bulb from DDMtuning.com. The brightness from these was just what I was looking for but they didn't quite fit in the OE housing for my Prius. I'll have to find a way to trim these to fit. http://www.ddmtuning.com/images/options/3274_option_image.gif
Bdubs
Shopping around for some all season tires for my STi. I really wish the car came with all seasons in the first place, because it is in CT, and I want to drive my damn car. It's like driving on old ass hard tires with these summer tires on the cold pavement. Plus I'd never take it out after dark, the roads may be icy.
