Random question, have you seen any improvement in MPG's? I know on some of the LSx cars there have been some good improvements, particularly on the highway where the car is sitting low in the rpms and your not mashing the gas.

bored and made a video today.

gonna swap back to oem crank pulley tomorrow because my belts are slipping and squeaking with the gimmick pulley. not building full boost with it either.

The one thing I went cheap on.. Gimmick lightweight pulley. The grooves don't line up right with the belt. OEM pulley back on and I build smooth boost up to 8psi or so, and raising my shift points will help more.

Not a great pic but you can kinda see the issue

I like the pulley to belt alignment shot. You think maybe the pulley was a bad piece/batch? You should ask about a return or exchange and see if the newer on aligns properly. If is did would you even switch back? Glad to see you tracking down the little things assoc. with this build that other may not think about

I would like to get another lightweight pulley, I've convinced myself it will help with the SC setup more than n/a or turbo.

I bought the pulley used from someone here, but I may contact Gimmick and see what they say. The AC belt alignment looked about the same as the pic above.. Off some

Grimmspeed the pulley installed and building full boost, I will be ordering the new version of my header soon, catless and a 2.5" collector. Then some more dyno/tuning time. Can't wait.

so since ive never had to tune a subau (only diesels), wanna answer some newb questions?

what do i need to tune my legg? besides a place to do it?

OR you could just get a tactrix cable and join my group buy for opensource N/A legacy tunes. Save yourself the hassle, do it right the first time, and enjoy the increased power and responsiveness. Let me know if you're interested.
