Guest Bren Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 We had a great day. 8 cars dyno tuned in 12 hours!!! FMIC cars definitely need boost leak tests (well all cars do). You will find out if your transmission is bad on a AWD dyno! We've had 5 cars to date with bad transmission on the dyno - all over 100k miles. Other then that everyone in the latter part of the day did really well. All cars put within a few hp/tq of each other and the HTA68 car picked up nearly 40hp delta with an intercooler and a re-tune. And Neil's amazing FMIC VF40 car! I'll let others share their awesome results. Thanks to everyone that came out we will have to do another one soon! It was an amazing turnout, people stayed the whole day to support everyone. I got a ride in one of those smaller subaru things, I think they're called impreza's or something and I was genuinely chuffed to see so many people from the forum. Thank you to all who turned up just to say hello and a big thanks to Bren who despite the line of cars didn't rush a thing and made sure everyone who was running a dyno today got first class and oh so very professional service. No matter how many ppl are there, he takes his time. When he tuned my 18g he took about 33 pulls. I think it was 2 plus hours. Amazing patience and focus!!
