Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

The owner is busy ruining someones wheels. Its a fine art that takes time to perfect.

Either that or making more AEs on other reviews lol

I put the wheels back on the car this weekend. Nice to have them back on and I'm driving about with them, the balance is fine and all basically okay. Just don't look at the passenger side wheels too closely. There's more damage on the wheels than I really got into here, tool marks and such, big dings out of the paint, they really kicked them about and dropped them on their concrete floor. Utterly no care. My original post was already long but what a disappointment to see them compared to the other two! I just shook my head, make the best of it - at the end of the day they are just wheels.

I also found out a friend of mine warned a friend of his about the Wheel Specialist as they were planning to take a set of Corvette wheels up to them. My friend showed his friend this thread and they went to Rimpro last week with his wheels! Not earth shattering stuff and we're not putting this lousy business out of work but I know some business has been reconsidered because of this thread which is what it is all about.

No special reason but I just feel like this should have a bump. It's been a while - but I think their service is still going to be bad and people need to be warned. I haven't forgotten about it and neither should anyone else. I have to get those wheels out again soon (as soon as it stops damn well snowing) and then I have to look at the work those nimrods did all over again.

Stopped by there today as I have some 5 spoke LGT rims that aren't true. Still plenty of MB's and BMW's in the lot, presumably from Herb Chambers and BMW of Peabody.

Waited in the office for five minutes. No one came out, so I left.

Do people often get wheels repaired without having them refinished? I thought they always went together b/c of the possibility of damaging the original paint when straightening.

My dad had a wheel repaired and refinished at Rim Pro in Tewksbury for about $160, I believe. Might be the most anal person when it comes to cars and he recommends them.
