Massachusetts, Boston North shore - Wheel repair misery

Great point JFB. Sweet. So now we have the words Rim Repair for google to find, would it be better to say Rim Repair Boston or maybe rim repair Peabody route 1 or something like that? People would find this story of how bad in my opinion the wheel repair specialists in Peabody route 1 really are for service when they search for rim repair and a bit of a location?

Well since you've just said all of them, you're set on that one. That said, the complication here is that this is a forum post and I have NFI how Google ranks such things. That said, the best way to gain pagerank status on Google for your keywords is to have quality backlinks to this topic. A quality backlink would be a backlink coming from another site, with a unique story associated with it, not a copy-pasted one as Google excludes those. But again we run into the issue of not knowing how Google treats forums, perhaps someone more knowledgeable than myself could tell you, maybe making topics on other car forums would be beneficial, maybe not.

well it does depend on the keywords..."wheel repair specialist route 1" in google and this forum post is just a little bit down, other combinations yield it right below - and obviously someone related to the company found this post about how badly they did their work and made the pinky post. They caused the resurrection of the post from the grave and allowed us to get more views on it... I still drive with my factory wheels they ruined the OZ wheels so bad... I don't know what other recourse I have but to share my story with others.

Oh certainly. I just was sharing what I know about page ranking. If you're involved with any other automotive forums or have friends who frequent other such sites and could post a topic with a link to here and their own version of a summary of your experience that should build some good backlinks for this thread and increase your pageranking.

A person or persons of very low intellegience would think that I am the owner of this business. However; I can assure you that I am not the owner. Just because I had stated that I received great workmanship for the work that was done on my vehicles as well as others that I have referred, does not mean I am the owner. How do I know that you didn't do the damage to your wheels yourself and blaming this company. How do I know that you are NOT another wheel repair expert trying to make a bad name for this company? We can all point fingers and call names...........but in this case...........YOU ARE ALL WRONG............I am a busy mom and have better things to do with my time. Woman are the ones that usually get screwed by mechanics, car salesman and every other type of service that is provided by mostly men. In this case I was not screwed! I got the best service and will continue to do my business here until I am proven otherwise. Best of luck to all and watch out for pot holes and curbs!

You know how he knew the wheels weren't damaged already? Because he knows his car, much like the majority of members of this forum do. Please explain to me, porschechick, how the inner bore of a wheel gets damaged while being driven, to the point of damage where the center cap no longer fits. Please tell me. I've seen these wheels in person and they are literally newly damaged and were clearly gouged and damaged in areas that cannot be damaged while driving on the wheel. The original poster brought the wheels in after they were removed from the car BY HIM, thus he would've taken note of damage. Hell, he has a tiny scuff (dime-sized) in the rear of the car that I never hear the end of when I see him at subaru meets.

And why would a busy mom come on a legacy car forum to outwardly defend a business that clearly receives the majority of its revenue through dealers and not the general public. They couldn't care any less about the general public and that reflects in the customer service given to the original poster. Instead of owning up to an error, a clear and obvious machine error by the way(damage inside the wheel- please...), they'd rather blame the owner in damaging the wheel(s). Please respond with atleast some knowledge of the subject, please.

I'm just quoting for future reference.

And that fact this makes me laugh.

So you are the owner's wife or girlfriend? You enjoy getting screwed by him? Let's see how his business does once we start mailing evidence and complaints to all nearby dealerships that do business with this shop. I doubt it would take much of our time to track down the shop's "valued" customers.

You say you received great workmanship from this company. Let's see some before and after pics of the wheels you had repaired by them.

Why the boring black font color?

Why the boring black font color?

Yeah, no kidding. The lack of pink font completely threw me off. It's like he/she/whatever is an entirely different person.

What we're finding most surprising is that a completely random person joined a Legacy forum without owning a Subaru (I'm assuming you own a Porsche) simply to defend a business from criticism which is contrary to the research information available (Google) and the personal experience of some regular forum members who's reviews and opinions are trustworthy.

Now that I think about it a bit more, it's starting to make sense. The only two positive reviews for this company in existence have been for a Mercedes (Yellowpages.com) and a Porsche (here). So, it seems the company has an elitist attitude when it comes to the wheels and cars they work on, and they do a half-assed job for any other car that is beneath their lofty standards. Like Subarus.

All the more reason to avoid this business.
